Excellent dealership and great cars…

Excellent dealership and great cars (BYD). Andy patiently and expertly guided my family through to the best choice for us. Effortlessly, with no pushy salesmanship. All felt natural and rightly done. Went for a number of test drives, Pétriti helped me understand the HEV/ EV functions. Great Dealership Manager Sam, expertly guided me through my choices for purchasing. The experience was superb. I would highly recommend both BYD and this dealership with its excellent staff and ethos. Thank you!

Booked a service with D.M

Booked a service with D.M. Keith for Tuesday 20th May 8.30-12.30. Arrived at the correct time with proof of the booking on our phone. They could not find the booking and the manager wanted us to come back another day. When we refused she said that it would be any time. We said that we were going out at 4.30 and had a half an hour drive to the garage. They said they would ring half an hour before the car was ready to pick up. We went to Lakeside to kill time and tried to ring at 12.30 (3 times) but could not get through so we drove to the garage to see if the car was ready . It wasn't. We drove home and waited for a phone call . They rang at 3.45 too late to get to Doncaster and back ,so we had to get a lift to the party we were going to. We picked up the car the following day. Our last 3 cars have been Lexus. The difference in the service is like chalk and cheese

DM Keith Bradford are something else, don’t hesitate to buy from them!!

Can’t speak highly enough of this dealership! I dealt with Ryan Firth Used Car Sales Manager & Graeme Dickens Dealer Principle - I bought my used car from them November 2024, I’ve unfortunately had a issues with the car since buying it but all related to the same fault I think … I booked it in to my local Ford but due to additional none standard items being fitted to my car, Ford technical wouldn’t look at my car any further so I was left in a really horrible situation, no car and no way forward. I got in contact with Graeme at Ford Bradford where I bought it from, he was absolutely amazing and offered to help where he could, I also spoke to Ryan who again was super lovely and has been a great point of contact. They arranged to collect my car and deliver me a courtesy car whilst mine was in with them. Annoyingly, the car didn’t fault for them even though it had been consistently faulting for 3 solid weeks, but nevertheless they still test drove and spent time looking in to it.
I’m confident the previous dealer who looked at it fixed the fault without realising as they reset my ECU either than or they were just trying to get more time authorised so they got more money…
The master technician at Bradford who worked on my car phoned me whilst he had my car to get some more info and try to figure out what’s causing it, again he was really lovely! Thank you! Both Ryan and Graeme went well out of their way to help me when really they didn’t need to, they had sold me a used car months ago so I’m super grateful and really wouldn’t hesitate in buying a car from them again. Well recommended!!! Due to these 3 staff members going out of their way for me i have now got my car back and im hopeful it’s fixed ! Im beyond grateful to you all !!! Thank you thank you thank you

6th Car from D M Keith

Signed up to a great lease deal through Tom and the corporate team, The car was everything they said it was going to be, Delivered to my work address, car was spotless, great service from order to delivery, followed up buy the team to ensure everything was ok and to ask if i had any question about the vehicle.
my 11th vehicle from DM Keith, very satisfied with the service received. would highly recommend.

Best experience of buying car I've had!

Just had the pleasure of buying a used car from D.M Keith.

What can I say.

It was by far the best experience of buying car I've had. Big shout out to Fozia, who I delt with. She was fantastic! Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about the service she was providing. I had a small issue with the car but it was delt with promptly and professionally.
I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

Mark at DM Keith's Leeds Ford was fantastic.

Buying a car from DM Keith's Leeds Ford branch, the sales advisor I dealt with, Mark, was excellent.
He is a warm and friendly person, trustworthy and concerned to ensure I was a satisfied customer.
He talked me through all my options thoroughly and didn't put me under any pressure to make a purchase or to take out finance.

Scammers

My disabled wife went to D. M. Keith Škoda Wakefield wanting peace of mind and reliability, She purchased a car with a warranty for extra peace of mind.

Unfortunately she has had to take the car back a few times and in doing so they always find something wrong that’s not covered by warranty and needs to be paid for.

The car recently needed a service and MOT so she booked it in, surprise surprise my wife was contacted and told that the car required some additional work not covered by the warranty. She was told the car has passed the MOT but there would be an additional charge for the extra work if required. I told her to refuse and we would investigate later.

On receiving the MOT it shows a clear pass with no advisories so obviously this extra work that they say was required doing was just a profits bump and wasn’t required at all. I’ve had the tyres checked and they’re perfectly legal and other items all check out ok too. I guess it’s buyer beware but we definitely won’t be using these scammers again.

Avoid this awful dealership!!!!! Purchased a Skoda Superb approx 1 year…

Purchased a Skoda Superb approx 1 year ago, end of April 2024 after less than 3 months then clutch pedal would not return (stuck at floor level). Raised the issue with dealer and all they wanted was for me to used the Skoda warranty. I asked for them to fix under consumer rights act 2015.
Car went in for repair eventually 8 weeks for repair a new fly wheel and other bits. Within a month issue returned and when I contacted the dealership they didn't reply until I chased them.
Emails back and forth with again reminders and chasing up from my side.
There solution replaced the car with a completely different variation of lower spec and as car was now a year older they offered me £3500 less than purchased price and expected me to pay £2000 towards the replacement.
There is more to story but to long winded to put on here unfortunately.
As I have lost all faith in the dealership and Skoda as a brand I have cut my losses and traded the car in elsewhere for £9600.
Awful customer service, I would highly NOT recommend you use this dealer.

Buying a new car is a big thing

Buying a new car is a big thing, and I’ve found in the past that some sales people can be pushy and it put me off. BYD Leeds was the total opposite, their no pressure approach was so refreshing and I actually ended up buying a car there and then. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish and Fozia in particular keep me up to date the whole way through. I absolutely love my car and I’m glad I chose BYD.

D M Keith - Hull - poor customer service

D M Keith, Hull, Beverley Rd. We bought our Skoda from this dealer but had recently had a shock absorber fault which had been carried out at another garage with genuine Skoda parts. The process to rectify this under the parts warranty was to go through D M Keith’s. We spoke to them on the phone and were requested to obtain the paperwork. He agreed that they would call us back to arrange to book on for inspection. They didn’t call us back. We rang again, still no callback. We then went in person 10th March to take paperwork and to book appointment. The woman on reception, initials K J (I am not putting her full name but I have it), was very flippant and rude in the way she handled our request. She barely looked at us, no apology for our calls not being returned, a very couldn’t care less attitude. We have now had the vehicle assessed and repaired by them and today have not had any issues however I still feel the need to report what we experienced. I would not recommend their customer service once they have sold you a vehicle and would not use them again.

I’m new to electric vehicles & loved BYD Leeds…

I’m new to electric vehicles having driven gas guzzling Range Rovers before. Fozia was brilliant in explaining the cars I test drove & I decided on the Seal Excellence having driven the Seal U & Sealion, all were great cars but I wanted something a bit different. It’s amazing to drive, looks great & feels very powerful, I love it! Would highly recommend DM Keith BYD Leeds.

BYD Seal U DM-I new car purchase

Purchased a Seal U DM-I from Sam and his team at the Leeds Branch. I have had a self charging Lexus for two years and thought this was the right model to transition to plug in hybrid.

I found the process to be simple and straightforward. Throughout the transaction I received very good communications and good advise.

My final model selection benefited from that advice and I highly recommend them, certainly will be my first port of call when next looking for a BYD vehicle.

Just bought our first hybrid car

Just bought our first hybrid car . This was not what I was expecting to do, but, after visiting BYD Leeds we fell in love with the Seal U and a week later we were driving our brand new car out of the showroom.

Seal U AWD from the Leeds Branch - excellent service!

Bought a Seal U AWD from the Leeds branch. The car itself and the service, both pre and post sales, are excellent! There were some delays with various things, none of which were attributable to DM Keith themselves, but their team supported all the way and did everything they could and more to get matters resolved. Particular mention to Sam their branch manager and Aaron their brand director. Thank you so much to their team!

Buying car for my son

☆☆☆BRILLIANT CARS SALES ☆☆☆
Went to look for a car for my son whi seen a car here, I'd called the dealer and spoke to Chris who advised that it would be best to leave a deposit as I was unable to get there till the next day l, but if I wasn't happy they would refund me, I was a little dubious bit I did reverse the car.
I went the next day and Chris (manger) was busy dealing with some issues but he directed me to Steve Elliott.
Steve was very helpful and explained everything in detail, answering any questions or concerns.
We took this out on a test drive and even let me go to where my son was working as it was a couple of miles to see the car.
Steve was amazing and his customer service was truly from the heart.
The sales team and others behined the scene worked really hard in the week to get this vehical ready for collection as it had only just arrived.
As it was my sons birthday they put banners and bows on this for his collection and Steve is also getting my son a present for his birthday which what can I say but amazing personal touch.
This garage is very family friendly from the moment walking though the doors to buying a vehical.
I'd definitely be recommending this to others to visit.
