No fun, no refund

I purchased games from dlsite that didn't work. I asked for a refund, showing the problems, and their response was that they have no information, so no refund. Ridiculous.

It is a japanese website mostly selling adult only manga/game/asmr items, but they have all ages section too. They DRM allows 5 time activation, when i out of it for an older pc game they helped me to get more. Otherwise i didn't had problem with them, i buying from them from more then a decade. Some item what i bought is not available on they site, but still i can redownload it. I not sure if that is a censorship from dlsite or the author decided to delist the game, but even the delisted items are available to redownload what i purchased

In a way a gambling site

DLsite does not allow critical reviews, mention of bugs, or P2P advice on bug workarounds.
It does have some great games not available elsewhere.
It also has games that won't start up.
Some games need a specific outside RTP to run, but the devs usually don't state which one is needed and P2P info from those that have solved it aren't allowed to post the fix in a review. (there are lots of different RTPs out there some of which are incompatible with each other so you can't just take the shotgun approach of installing all of them).
In one case a dev miscoded saves so a second save would append to the save file corrupting it instead of overwriting, this could be worked around by deleting the old save in a different window then making a fresh save in game, but since DLsite reviews don't allow sharing info like that to most people the game's save system is just broken.
In my experience this gives you about a 25% to 35% chance that a game you buy from DLsite actually works. Hence the 2 star review that reflects that probability.

Only positive feedback accepted.

Dlsite, and it's (functionally the same) English equivalent heavily censor user created reviews. Comment on the functionality of a product, for example if the game or broken or buggy, is forbidden.

My (generally positive) reviews were rejected for mentioning that the developer of the product in question was no longer active. This was especially pertinent to my review, as Dlsite republish works in English, in this case the original product was almost four years old.
Other reviews made reference to the fact that the developer planned to continue their work, however those reviews reflected the original Japanese product, and the developer does not exist as of 2019.

This rejection of criticism (or even statements of fact!) and overt discussion renders the entire review system pointless.
