Rotten to the core the council here

DO not allow this council to do a CPO on your property , their solicitors are refusing to pay over 60 people in Sandyford for the last 6 years compensation they are owed. They cannot be trusted , they should be removed from their positions as they are not fit for the job. Employ people that can do the work they are employed to do. Total incompetence and not fit to be in a job
They cannot be trusted

Dunlaoghaire County Council (DLRCOCO)…

Dunlaoghaire County Council (DLRCOCO) outsource works (including road works) to contractors / other companies. However, if the contractor / other company does a bad job or causes hazards for the public, DLRCCO say that they are not responsible for whatever the contractor does. For example, DLRCOCO hired a contractor to complete road works near my home and the contractor failed to put up warning signs and so my car was damaged as no warning sign was in place to alert me to a massive new pavement. DLRCOCO said they had nothing to do with it even though they hired the contractor. In Financial Services, the Financial Services Provider is responsible for anything their outsourced contractors does. Not clear why its not the same for DLRCOCO. Its a bit like asking someone to murder your spouse but saying you are not responsible because you did not carry out the murder.
