I had an issue with Direct Eats. Part of my order was never received by the person to whom I was having it sent (a gift). I wrote to Direct Eats and they believe that the carrier may have delivered the item to the wrong address. They therefore offered me a refund. I am very satisfied with their handling of this issue and will not hesitate to do business with them in the future.
I will never order from this company again. I ordered a case of water chestnuts for $18.92 and got sent one can that arrived 10 days later. When mistake was brought to their attention I was told it was getting handled right away. Three days later and the package till hasn't shipped, they are not upgrading the shipping and they won't cancel the order even though it hasn't shipped yet. When I was given the option to cancel 3 days ago I was not told that there wasn't going to be effort on there part to fix their mistake in a timely manner or I would have told them to cancel it then.UPDATE: I finally received the package to fix their mistake, another box with 1 can in it. They did refund my money but not worth the trouble. 2 cans of water chestnuts and a whole lot of time wasted. SMH
