I very liked this project because i worked well with my friend and i learn new things and word
This experience was very nice because I was able to learn English better and I made new acquaintances.
Participating in the New York MUN was an extraordinary experience that allowed me to immerse myself in the world of diplomacy while also discovering the incredible city of New York. The event was impeccably organized, ensuring an engaging and dynamic environment. The opening and closing ceremonies were particularly impactful, setting the stage for stimulating discussions. The presence of distinguished speakers at the opening ceremony was truly inspiring, as they emphasized the importance of international cooperation.
The preparation leading up to the event was just as valuable. The months of training provided me with essential skills that significantly improved my ability to navigate the simulation. I am especially grateful to Roberta and Angelo for their dedication and guidance, which made a real difference in my readiness and confidence.
None of this would have been possible without ELSA, and I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity they provided. This experience was not only an academic and professional milestone but also a personal journey of growth that I will always cherish.
The experience with the association was really exciting: this gives the opportunity to interact with the world of diplomacy by participating in a simulation and in the meantime had the opportunity to visit the city.
I want to thank Roberta and Angelo for the training in the months before arriving in New York, they were very helpful for various tips and information useful to carry out the simulation.
I was also impressed by the way in which the association invited distinguished guests to the opening ceremony, who expressed their views on the importance of cooperation between nations; In this way, from the beginning we were immersed in a cooperative mentality between co-delegates.
Finally, I would like to thank ELSA (European Law Student’s Association) for introducing me to this experience; without it and the many people I have met who participated in previous years, I would not have had the opportunity to take part in.
The experience with Associazione Diplomatici was truly enriching: it provided the opportunity to engage with the world of diplomacy by participating in a high-level simulation while also exploring the vibrant city of New York. I was particularly impressed by the guests invited to the opening ceremony, who shared their perspectives on international cooperation. This set the tone for the entire experience, fostering a spirit of collaboration among all delegates from the very beginning. I would also like to express my gratitude to ELSA (European Law Students' Association) for introducing me to this incredible opportunity. Without their support and the encouragement of those who participated in previous editions, I would not have had the chance to be part of such an inspiring experience.
I had the pleasure of participating in this fantastic experience organised by Associazione Diplomatici, and I can confidently say it was an incredible one. The organisation provided a professional and inspiring environment. The program was well-structured and allowed for meaningful interactions with experts in the field. A special thank goes to Alessandro Ferraio, whose guidance, support, and expertise made a profound impact. I highly recommend Associazione Diplomatici to anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of global diplomacy.
it was my first CWMUN experience and i did it in Singapore
i think it was one of the best experiences because of the interesting things that i learned and because the conferences were necessary to improve myself and to make new friends
Very high fees compared to the event offer. When traveling, CWMUN participants in New York were not guaranteed breakfast. The contract signed with the Hotels in New York did not give us the opportunity to use anything in the hotel that normal guests were entitled to, e.g. we could not buy a voucher for breakfast at the hotel, we could not receive a kettle to boil water, I did not even receive a sewing kit to sew a button when it broke off. The service at the reception was very unpleasant and arrogant and answered every request that we were a group from Associazione Diplomatici and we were not entitled to anything. At such international events that pay a lot of money, there should be at least one official dinner together so that the participants can get to know each other and integrate.
Associazione Diplomatici should empathize with a young person who comes alone to such a conference (not with a group that will take care of itself) and is not guaranteed anything except accommodation.
I know that many young people came back very disappointed after CWMUN NYC 2024.

Reply from Associazione Diplomatici
my first experience at CWMUN was this year in april.
overall, i wasn’t satisfied from several points of view. first of all the organisation, or rather, the disorganisation of the tutors. the latter were constantly pissed off and shouted at the group with arrogance (imagine paying 4000 dollars for a trip and being treated like dogs..) on the other hand, we were perpetually late and forced to run like bedouins.
furthermore, we were not granted any autonomy and were forced to be in a group of hundreds of kids. therefore, everyone's needs could not be respected and we were essentially abandoned to ourselves.
the meals consisted exclusively of junk food for both lunch and dinner, with the only difference that lunch was "free" (i.e. we ate wherever the tutors wanted but at our expense)
for breakfast, however, we were offered a Starbucks card containing 42 dollars for 6 days. clearly eating at chains like starbucks can't fill you up on a budget of around $7 a day. therefore, given the considerable expense of the trip itself, I would have expected a higher amount of money.
furthermore, the visits were completely superficial and consisted of "walking tours" always in the same parts of the city, admiring buildings whose history was not even explained to us due to the lack of a guide.
moreover, having bought the enjoy package, which ensures a more complete view of the city with slogans and illusory photos, I expected to visit places such as the Empire State Building or the Museum of Modern Art.
still, the few visits that I personally enjoyed were:
the natural history museum, where, however, there were no guides and the most interesting exhibits were at our expense;
the summit building, where, however, we were late on the scheduled day (WHICH WAS THE DAY OF THE TOTAL ECLIPSE!!) and we had to postpone because the managers had forgotten the reservation.
regardless, the main purpose of the trip was to simulate a model un commission , and the latter did not disappoint me at all.
In fact, I consider it an interesting and clearly formative experience which has allowed me to meet new people with whom I am still in contact and have a relationship of acquaintance. (leaving aside the inexperience and lack of seriousness of the members of the dais..).
overall, as I previously said, I am not entirely satisfied with this trip due to many problems. however, looking back, only the best memories emerge and I can say I really enjoyed it.
The members of the dice were truly amazing. I had a great experienced with varied delegates, made new friends and learned from my peers.
I participated in the CWMUN NYC 2023, and the experience was fenominal, all staff members were kind and helpful, fellow delegates were prepared and created important discussions and started specific conversations about important matters viewed in different lights. There were only a few issues I had, but the majority were with the group in which I traveled with. So, overall, this is an amazing experience that helps you understand and learn about how certain topics affect (or don't affect) different countries in ways you didn't think they could.
Thank you chair, thank you delegates.
Michele Piras è il top e ce l’ha fatta vivere alla grande
A true international experience!
Diplomatici offered me the opportunity to meet people from everywhere and increase my passion for diplomacy. The online learning and tutoring prior to the conference, in my experience were very professional and personal at the same time.
