I have been a DeVere customer for many years. Moving from overseas to Europe and changing agents created some communication challenges initially. However, has been sorted out. The client-agent relationship is now excellent and highly professional. I gladly give them a top-notch rating!

I have more than 15 years experience with DeVere and have never been disappointed. My financial counselor, Andrew does a great job in explaining and counseling me concerning my investments. Despite service fees that may be higher than what some banks are offering, the money is well spent.

Good portfolio review with Andrew also highlighting risks and opportunities vs current geopolitical and economic situation.

deVere Group asked me to write them a positive review. Well, I certainly will not be! Over the years, I have received the worst advise possible, have had funds they put me into go into administration and they consistently try to sell life policies with the highest commission fees.

Avoid de Vere Group like the plague, they will inevitably take up all your time, sanity and above all your hard earned cash!

Update 07/31/2026 - in response to deVere Group's reply, if you are truly sorry, would you be willing to refund my losses for the Strategic Growth Fund which was the fund your advisors decided to add to my pension fund and for which even your boss Nigel Green admitted was not the best advice ("mistake being rectified") and then refunded some clients but not all, including me!

If you keep sending me emails I did not subscribe to, then expect a 3* at the very least. If you continue to send them when I have asked you a number of times to stop, then you’re a 1* and decreasing. I never signed up for your spam. Stop sending.

Ray Howell always responds quickly to my requests and most of the times even proactivly to my needs. He is giving me the comfortably feeling that someone trustworthy is taking care of my investments in my best interest - and you can see from the results thatit is working!

I'm amazed there are so many good reviews of De Vere group.

I wouldn't recommend them. South Africa. QROPS transfers, massive fees, expensive products, financial advisors more like salesman. No thanks.

Sorry, but there it is.

The marketing fees were a small clause in the original agreement when the product was first set up and somehow mothballed until resurrected just beofre the locked-in 10 year term ended.

Aside from that, I had to endure expensive short term investment products, rather than sound long term investing.

Good to deal with when local then the 'advisor' gets shipped off to the Middle East. The advisor, recently promoted from an assistant, thinks it's not an issue and actually finds it amusing that Devere have been chastised over an issue (nothing t do with my portfolio). This year an assistant then phones to arrange the annual telephone catch up at a time that suits the advisor who then doesn't phone and three months later I'm waiting for that call. Actually, I'm not not now. I have moved away from Devere and moved my funds to a local provider who charges less in fees, provides more contact and has my funds in a scheme which charges less and has equal returns.

Got a spam email from them without any prompting and asserted political opinions as a wealth management group. Given this I would not trust them with my money and would be wary of their security as I did not sign up for these emails.
