It is fantastic to be able to buy a set of coloured pencils that are appropriate for your own tastes and interests. I wanted a new set to carry around, and chose the Chromaflow range based on reviews. They are just right for the job, bright and velvety, layering well. They are waterproof so no problem if it rains on your sketchbook. I was surprised to see you can actually mix ranges with this 'pick your own' tin - I could have chosen a few of the earthier Drawing pencils to contrast with the bright Chromaflows. I have in fact since swapped a Drawing white for the Chromaflow white, it's much brighter.

So great to be able to add to my collection and select exactly what I want.
I like Derwent watercolour pencils and this purchase was to add to collection. They are eady to use I solve well. Layering makes the colour even brighter . I like that they come I a tin for. Storage , I just wish there were hi gs on the lid .
Will be getting more to complete my palette

Handy way to buy open stock, allowing you to choose exactly the colours and types of pencil you need at a reduced price. The tin is handy too. And Derwent coloured pencils are excellent. I'm particularly fond of the Drawing range - beautiful colours and a joy to use.
I love the Inktense pencils, both as dry and as watercolours. The 'build your own tin' option allowed me to get exactly the right shades for me.
Absolutely love the ability to choose a tin of just the pencils I wanted, and great that you can mix and match although in this case I just went for the Derwent drawing pencils. A great saving on individual pencil price too.

I ordered these pencils as they were the 48 new colours in the Derwent Drawing pencil set and they are absolutely stunning. I love them. The colours are just fantastic and perfect for nature drawings. Derwent knocked it out the park with these additional colours. I also ordered the additional new colours in the inktense range which are also stunning. These colours are a wonderful addition to the original set. Overall I’m so pleased with the set and the service from Derwent! 5* and a big well done!

Really handy to be able to choose the exact colours and range I wanted and to save money at the same time. Very nicely packaged in a sealed smart silver pencil tin, meaning they arrived in perfect condition.
An amazing service that Derwent offers - the ability to buy an empty tin and fill it with individually chosen pencils from any range. It allows the artist to create their own personalised pallete of colours. As far as I know this is a unique product from any of the major art suppliers. I filled it with 24 of the new Derwent Drawing pencils to complement the 24 set I already had. Note: If Derwent offered a larger generic 36 tin I would have been tempted to fill that instead!

Filled my tin with 24 of the new Derwent Drawing Pencils to add to the 24 1 already had, they came perfectly packaged and are exactly what I wanted and doing this along with a second tin, enabled me to add all the new colours to my set without any duplication and in proper tins. Just perfect!
