Curious Case of DeeshrimpsIndia.in

I am writing this review to alert aquarium hobbyists across India about the misleading business practices and complete lack of accountability from DeeShrimps India (deeshrimpsindia.in).

1. Ghost Physical Location & Fake "Store" Address

On their website’s homepage and FAQ section, DeeShrimps India explicitly invites buyers to "Visit our store" at:

A9 & C9 Sai Jyoti, Alkapuri, Station Road, Nallasopara East, Maharashtra 401209.

In reality, there is no physical aquarium shop, retail outlet, or operational facility operating under this name at that location. This is an unverified, non-commercial address used to project legitimacy. Furthermore, they deliberately avoid maintaining an active, verified Google Maps / Google Business Profile to prevent customers from posting verified local reviews and photographic evidence of dead shipments.

2. Predatory "No DOA / No Refund" Policy

Online livestock sellers routinely stand by their packing with a standard Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) policy upon bag-opening proof. DeeShrimps charges premium prices and hefty delivery fees, but washes their hands of any responsibility the moment money is received. If your shipment arrives with dead fish, dying shrimps, or melted plants, you will not receive a replacement, store credit, or a refund.

3. Communication Blackout Once Paid

Customer support pre-sale is night and day compared to post-sale. Once payment is processed, they routinely fail to send basic order confirmations, dispatch timelines, or tracking numbers. Reaching them on WhatsApp or phone requires endless follow-ups over several days, and any complaint regarding dead or subpar livestock is simply met with silence or defensive excuses.

4. Stock Inconsistency

Beyond the high shipping mortality rate, stock that does arrive alive often consists of low-grade culls rather than the vibrant, high-grade lines marketed on the site.

Do not be misled by their polished online catalog or claimed physical store. If you value your money and care about the welfare of live animals, source your livestock from verified, transparent local breeders or reputable aquarium suppliers who stand behind their live arrival.
