This site is impossible to navigate. I placed an order this morning, it was never confirmed via email and when I checked order history, it showed that I ordered nothing. Also, I registered and when I attempted to log in, it kept taking me back to register and even though I was registered, it told me that either my password and/or email address was invalid. It also kept asking me if I wanted to change my password which I did several times and still got nowhere. I also contacted them numerous times to find out if my order was received and they failed to answer me. Do yourselves a favor and stick to Amazon and E Bay for your online shopping.
Awful packaging.
Awful packaging. Why even be a movie store if your packaging for shipping is straight up garbage. Do better.
50% of DVDs won’t play
I received 6 DVDs as a birthday present and only 3 out of 6 DVDs worked correctly in the DVD player. 3 others gave me the same error when put into my dvd player, but not on my computer. DVDs were not all from the same place and my dvd player is playing all my other DVDs correctly.
When I called to ask if this was a problem I was given no solution other than return and exchange or return and refund. As I put my dvds in a binder for storage this was not possible (There was a bit of attitude from the customer service rep about this that was unappreciated).
I was told this was a as yet unheard of problem. When asked for any solution I was told there was none. The customer service rep seemed interested in finding one or passing this potential issue onwards. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend shopping here with a current working rate of 50%

First time I ordered. They charged my card right away. An hour later they cancelled the order saying my credit card wasn't approved and I should contact the bank. That's a big fat lie! They take your money and cancel your order as they please. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE SCAMMERS!
Surprise shipping fees - poor customer support
I have ordered 4-5 times in the past with this company, they always sent the shipment straight to me. This time, on top of the 16 USD shipping cost, i had an extra 12 CAD of shipping fees waiting for me at the post office. Turns out they had sent it to a warehouse in Ontario which then shipped it to me. And the post office wouldn't release the package until i paid.
I wrote them to inquire, this was their full response : "Any other applicable charges are your responsibility and are collected once the package reaches your country. We have no jurisdiction over these charges and cannot determine what they might be nor can they be refunded."
And that was it. I simply will not order with them anymore.
Deep Discount is a great place to get movies
I seen that this company had a shit rating on trustpilot here so I came to vouch for them. I've been shopping Grindhouse, Arrow, VS, Shout, Kino Lorber, Severin, Umbrella, etc for so long I can't even remember and when I shop I check all the sites, all the distributors and I check Deep Discount. Sometimes I get better deals there and sometimes I order direct but I've never, never ever, had an issue ordering through them when I do and when they ship it gets to me fast and efficiently, I've had to return an item once for damage during shipping and there were zero issues. Seriously, check these guys out and give them a fair shot before you take any of the negative testimonials from this site and if you do give them a positive review here if you have a good experience.

This place is the worst—no answers given when you ask when your item is going to be in stock and delivered—bad customer service that is absolutely awful and you can’t cancel your order if you try—avoid Deep Discount at all costs.
Don’t honor preorders
I preordered from them and my order never shipped. I’ve emailed 3 times in a week and only got a canned your item is out of stock and will be shipped in 45 days or cancelled reply. They ignored the fact that they didn’t respond to my emails and haven’t given a ship date. I also wasn’t given the option to cancel.
Only good if you don't need customer service
I've ordered from them many times. Usually it's fine, except for slow handling and shipping. However, this time I went with them specifically because they had the 4k/BR/digital bundle for a film that I wanted; I couldn't find that combo anywhere else. I ordered from them and received it, but the code for the digital copy had expired almost a year prior. The first rep that I talked to _did not understand what a digital copy was_, if you can believe that. She said that her manager said to send an email and they'd send a new code. Four days later, the email response had not read my email and was a canned "I don't know how to use a code" response. I called back many more times, learning that their supervisors are only there two hours a day (and they wouldn't even talk to me then), spent 20 min on hold only to be hung up on three times, and finally got only a 20% refund for something that's 33% useless. They would not stand behind their sales, couldn't guarantee that a replacement wouldn't also be expired, and were impossible to get hold of. I'll never be shopping here again - it's fine until it isn't, and then you're screwed.
Simply the Best
Honestly, this is the best site to order movies and music from. Deep Discount has completely removed my need to order form eBay and Amazon. eBay had the selection for me, but Deep Discount has just as much if not more! And, you don't have to worry about trying to get an honest seller with Deep Discount like you do on ebay. As far as Amazon goes, for me, Deep Discount beats them easily because Amazon used to package my movies so poorly that when I opened them, they almost always were broken or had loose discs - not once has that ever happened with Deep Discount. And as far as the boutique movie companies go, I honestly feel like it's better to order from Deep Discount because they seem just a little cheaper and a little faster, unless you happen to catch a sale from one of the boutique companies.
Deep Discount is 10/10, two thumbs up, A+, or however you want to rate it. This company rocks! THANK YOU Deep Discount.

Ordered from them via Walmart and they canceled the order after it arrived at walmart for pickup…. It was my mother’s Christmas present so an even bigger issue to resolve. Avoid at all costs.
Horrible Return policy
Outsourced customer service won't allow me to cancel an order before it ships. I have to wait for my items then send them all the way back to get a refund and they haven't even left the warehouse. Never using this company again.

Horrible packaging and customer support
I recently ordered three items from them. Two of my items arrived damaged. I returned both of them and marked to have them replaced since they were both in stock items. They received my order and instead of replacing my order, like I specified on their own provided label, they just refunded me. I reached out to support and they told me the warehouse can decide to refund me instead of replacing it for any reason.. and that I should just re-order the items if I wanted them. I explained that I used a coupon that was no longer valid and they told me that was unfortunate and that if I wanted them I would have to pay full price. I explained I'd rather order from someone else that has them at the same price.
Absolutely no effort to make this right or keep me as a customer. I paid to return the third item and I'm done with them. Terrible packaging and customer support.
Terrible customer service!
Terrible customer service!! My packaged never arrived and all they told me was to try to contact USPS. I emailed them multiple times and they stopped responding. Literally wasted my money :(

I have not once had ordered from them without an issue. Majority of the time items will never ship, often ordered will be cancelled with no notification that they're cancelled.

Terrible customer service. It takes them several days to a week to respond to any inquiries. I recently placed an order with Deep Discount, but unfortunately, it didn't go through. The worst part is that no one from the company contacted me regarding the issue. I had to reach out to them myself to ask why my order didn't ship. That's no way to run a business!
