Gold Standard

I have several anmals and deepdale have always been great . It feels like a family . They know me by name , they are so helpful with my constant worrying (to my fave at least LOL} The vets are lovely and Andrew has saved my cats life who was diagmosed with IBD in October and he continues to monitor her closely . I feel seen and heard and the animals are truly cared for . Unfortuneately Jay has now left, but I met a new young vet this week called shae who is equally lovely and helpful. One thing about this vets is that it always feel like they follow through . We all know thats vets can be very expensive, but I actually do feel they try to be reasonable and you get a gold star service . Thank you deepdale

First visit to Deep Dale Vets

First visit to Deep Dale vets yesterday with our 3 month old Border Terrier Barney for his 2nd vaccination, reception staff lovely and helpful, the vet Andreu was also friendly and informative - glad we registered with Deep Dale - would recommend to others

Hurt my Akita

The Vet, Andreu, has massively shortened my 12 year old Akita's lifespan by performing an examination on her that would be too much for a young dog, let alone a much older giant dog. He pulled her about so badly he left her hips in a lot of pain and then started insisting that he wanted to operate on her. He would not listen to us telling him that a dog that old would never survive anaesthetic and the 6 months recovery time and it was a ridiculous idea.

She went from being able to get about very well, the vet even saying that he was "suprised she's moving as well as she is" for her age and walking a mile a day to barely able to walk 50 metres.

Following further issues with their physiotherapist not listening either, insisting she also wanted to maul her about - sorry manipulate her - , I tried to talk to someone in charge. They point blank refused to speak with me. I had to call their head office to try to discuss with them.

Eventally head office forced Natasha (clearly under duress) from Letchworth Vets to speak to me. Who then again didn't listen and completely misunderstood the complaint.

Skip forward 40 days and she eventually comes back to me to write the most gaslighting version of a response to a complaint that I have ever come across, including telling me that I was "in agreement" according to the CCTV footage with everything in the consultation and that my dog was already that bad when she came in. I was incensed!

So I contacted their head office again, hoping to speak to someone and instead was made to wait a total of 80 days for a similar "you're wrong" email response.

Having been with Deepdale for over 15 years, and had nothing but the highest regard for every one of their staff, recommended them to countless people in the area, I would now seriously say stay away. Find any other vet than these.

Simply 'the best!'

We took Dusty to be spayed at Deepdale. They did an initial consultation before she was spayed, with the spaying two days later and a follow-up check afterwards to check all was okay - all included in one price.

I could not fault them in any way- their main concern was for the health of Dusty and not how much we paid.

I couldn't recommend them enough!
