Mike from Debt Recovery was very helpful- I had been receiving communications from debt recovery in regards to a fine issued by Smart parking due to them failing to notify Debt Recovery that they had cancelled my parking notice which then meant I was receiving letters to be taken to court. speaking with Mike and making him aware of what’s been going on, he was very helpful and very apologetic as this shouldn’t have happened, I appreciate all he has done to help and get that cancelled. Many thanks again.

Mike Gibson was extremely helpful and understanding of my frustration with Premier Park Ltd and not with Debt Recovery Plus. He went above and beyond in assisting with my ongoing dispute with the aforementioned parking company.

Is it possible to give zero stars
Is it possible to give zero stars? Agent on the phone threatened me, like, literally threatened me. I then said fine I'll pay today but I won't be able to eat for the rest of the month. They took the payment without hesitation. I had to live for 2 weeks on rice and sauce.
I got a parking ticket because I stayed in a McDonalds for 20 minutes too long in a hire car, so the rental company got the initial period with the ticket, I got the late fees. I had no opportunity to pay the lower fee because I was there in a hire car as I'd travelled over 200 miles to see my friend who was contemplating taking his own life, he desperately needed a friend. We spent the time in the McDonalds. A few months later I get a final notice warning from these creatures (I can only assume they've got their staff brainwashed because they're not human). Left a note on my file which said it would get reviewed, it doesn't, it goes to an empty pot that no-one looks at. They threaten with legal action and talk to you like you're a criminal. I explained how the charge happened as I figured it was worth mentioning I was trying to save someone's life, they threatened to call the police (I'm not joking, I've got this on a recorded transcript).
Bottom line, I wish nothing but the worst for this company and everyone associated with it and I mean that with every ounce of my existence. Absolute scum of the earth and they don't care. I'm not a religious person myself, however the idea that there is a hell for people like this does bring me some comfort.
Will they read this review? Probably not. If they do will they care? No, they'll probably laugh. I hope their families know what they do for work. If anyone I was related to was doing this I'd be embarrassed and ashamed.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the…
I am extremely dissatisfied with the way my parking charge has been handled by both CPM and Debt Recovery Plus.
I never received the original Parking Charge Notice or any follow‑up correspondence from CPM. The first notification I was aware of came from Debt Recovery Plus. This letter did not include any images, timestamps, or clear evidence relating to the alleged incident, which caused confusion and concern.
In an effort to understand the situation, I contacted Debt Recovery Plus and spoke with Leon Beckford. I explained that I had never received two letters that he claimed had already been sent. Rather than offering clarification, proof, or support, he simply insisted that the letters had been issued. When I asked how I could obtain video or photographic footage of the alleged incident, or what the appropriate steps were to resolve the matter, I was told to either pay the charge, take the matter to court, or seek a solicitor. The response felt dismissive and unhelpful, and Mr Beckford appeared eager to end the call rather than assist.
This is not the first time I have experienced issues involving CPM. On a previous occasion, incorrect information was provided, including the wrong date, with claims that I was parked on a date when I was not. Taken together, these experiences raise serious concerns about accuracy, transparency, and customer treatment.
While I understand that not every dispute can be resolved immediately, I do expect a professional, respectful approach and clear guidance when raising legitimate concerns. Unfortunately, the service and attitude I encountered fell well below an acceptable standard.

95% of the webchat and customer service…
95% of the webchat and customer service staff at this company are complete lemons, there is no consistency in what each member of staff says, the security verification is completely useless, you can provide them with ANY address you like and it will somehow confirm your ID and they will expose your full name and address to anyone, reported them to the ICO for a data breach, enjoy your £17.5 million fine coming your way. The ONLY person in the entire company worth talking to is Mike Gibson. I highly suggest you do a SAR and get your information deleted (dont forget to do a follow up SAR 6 months later to check as they will probably fail) as they cannot be trusted with your data

I owed £17.50 as I paid a lot of the fine sadly I lost my partner recently
I received a letter from them with all the options to pay at the bottom if the letter is said quite clearly in black and white you have options to pay this in two or three months installments
I rang up to arrange this on the phone and the guy said I couldn't do this arrangement as it was less the amount to make it arrangement
Surely in today's society and laws if it says you can opt into this arrangement it should be honoured
To say I was annoyed was out ranged for him to say this as it was in the letter for him to see on his system
This is a shocking company no common sense at all to help people
Stay well away from them

It's a racket
It's a racket! Go see on Companies House >> Lisa Clure and Graham Brierley are both directors for BOTH Debt Recovery Plus and Parking Collection Services (PCS).
But PCS has ALWAYS been a dormant company!
Since inception in 2018 PCS has consistently submitted accounts only as a 'Dormant Company', ie: a company that is NOT operating, providing services or taking monies.
BOTH are registered at: 78 York Street, London, W1H 1DP
PCS is a 'dormant company' that dishes out tickets with no evidence at all of parking contraventions - no photos. Debt Recovery Plus sends out aggressive letters and emails to chase and increase the debt.
Lisa and Gareth also both run EDWARD & EMILY LIMITED - a property company. So Lisa and Gareth are conning 10,000s of people to pay for a property jolly! These scumbags are that brazen.
The Crime and Policing Bill is supposed to crack down on corporate fraud. So where's the crack down on Lisa and Gareth's diabolical fraud?
