Daytona Kia Failure
Consolidated review: our family has 3 KIA's and love them. But Daytona KIA has made this buying experience miserable on 8/21/25! Our salesman Troy was great. Our post sale calls to manage problems and promises are mostly ignored and all promises made by JR are not completed. Our Tag was taken by Daytona KIA and not returned and it still had 7 months left. Yet in Florida I am legally responsible for it. It appears they set it up for a new tag instead of a tag transfer, (more money), but the old tag is still ours. A red shirt mgr known to me as as "John from Rochester" was extremely obnoxious.
The numbers, verified and agreed to with Victor were different when we FINALLY got to finance. As we were leaving without signing "John" hollered "You came for a good buy, Now GOOD BYE!" JR came over immediately to smooth things out and we agreed to split the difference and he agreed to provide services bonuses to make up for the treatment. As of 9/4/2025 we are still waiting!! They did not have time to remove our old tag when we brought the trade in to Daytona KIA. Many many subsequent phone calls were ignored. We were finally told by JR that the tag went to auction and they would contact them. As of 9/4 and many more phone calls were either ignored or we were told no new information. Yet keeping one promise JR would have taken seconds.
