No customer service

One year after I bought a bass online I had one pot issue, absolutely no feedback form Dawson's, a totaly different story from what I got buying it with extensive communication to make the deal.
I had to pay for the repair at a local store where I would have buy that bass if it was available.

A very positive experience

My experience with Dawsons Music in Sydney Australia was fantastic. They had a guitar amp that ive been looking for many years and could not find it brand new here in Australia. Only dawsons had it in stock (last one) they came through and delivered exceptional service and fast turn around. Thank you Dawsons.

I ordered a guitar for my daughter and messed up the click and collect. James in the customer service team was amazing for sorting out delivery for me. Kept me up dated every step of the way. Very impressed, he’s a credit to Dawsons

I've had a lot of trouble from the…

I've had a lot of trouble from the corrupted company Dawson's in Morriston they act disgraceful thay have issued a no fault of own eviction against me. They also moved in 🪰 fly tipping tenants nextdoor homelessness trashy people who don't care about anything. The only type of tenants they get are low life's with no ambition in life. I now know what a rogue landlord's lettings agency is because of them. Thay are really corrupted they hide behind a uniform and behind a computer 🖥 desk. Them corrupted individuals tend to blend in with the public. I wouldn't recommend Dawson's to homelessness Unemployed or working class people. The only type of people I would recommend it is somone on crack or alcoholics. Thanks for taking the time to read my comment.

No Response

Placed two orders during December 2021, 1st order was wrong item, 2nd order i needed to send one item back. Sent Dawsons many messages by G-mail received generic internet messages stating they will get in touch! Nobody from Dawsons have been in touch. (AVOID at your peril)!

Stay well away

Don't accept returns don't except phone calls waited over a month for a return number paid £34

Very happy with the piano Keyboard…

Very happy with the piano Keyboard purchased, but wasn’t away that it did not come with the adapter, and wasn’t available to buy from Dawson’s.
Another item purchased which was supposed to be a Christmas gift had been shipped to the wrong address - refund was made, but disappointed another one wasn’t sent out.

My experience was fine, but be wary

I ordered a guitar and a set of strings. Foolishly I ordered prior to looking up any reviews and Dawsons don't allow you to cancel and order once it's processed so I was stuck with it

My order had been marked as dispatched on the website but I hadn't received any emails and there was no tracking information. I emailed customer support the next day and while I didn't receive an answer to that query I did shortly after get an email confirmation of dispatch with all the relevant tracking information.

The package arrived when it should have and I did notice that I had only received the guitar and not the strings. I assumed they were perhaps being sent separately but after a week of nothing I emailed customer support and they did actually process a refund on them for me.

The guitar itself was packaged well and, to my great surprise, appeared to have been inspected and perfectly set up before it being sent. So on that front I have no complaints.

So why only three stars? Even though there were no serious issues with my order I feel it would be disingenuous to award higher when it's clear from other reviews that it really is luck based. Fortunately I got lucky but a lot of other people didn't. Or course we can't know what that ratio is and perhaps 95% of orders go similar to mine. But do you want to take the risk? I wouldn't again.

Very poor customer service

Communication about delivery was non-existent. I was told the courier would contact me and they didn't. Then when it turned up, it was packaged really poorly, plus the whammy bar was missing. A month after emailing to get a replacement part I still haven't heard anything. The customer service phone number didn't work from my mobile or a landline, you just get a message saying it can't be reached from this location. The price was great, but everything else about the experience has been terrible, so I won't be using Dawsons again.
