I have recently discovered Dalton Supplies and my first two experiences of ordering from them have been excellent. Competitive pricing and great customer service - both orders sent out quickly and well packaged via DX with next day delivery. The Optimus tripod drinker for my chickens is superb and so easy to set up and use. No hesitation in recommending this company.

Attempted to buy disposable gloves through Dalton Supplies. Attracted by free delivery service. After filling in all the info and life details the basket added Delivery!
What a con - don't blame online services who you have no control over. It's your reputation.

What a great company - I wish I had discovered them years ago.
I purchased two items - the chicken water system which is such a good design that allows easy filling, easy cleaning, algae resistance and comes with spare parts.
Unfortunately the treadle feeder had been damaged in transit (I'm not sure how the courier managed to do so as it was so well packaged) but they have immediately arranged to collect it and deliver a replacement.

Absolutely amazing company.
My item arrived damaged. I sent the company an email with photo's attached. Daniela got straight on it and arranged an immediate replacement.
It arrived less than 24 hours later.
Absolute old school service from this company. Fantastic!!

We needed some Dosatron's urgently. Dave was so helpful over WhatsApp making sure Dalton could fulfil the order within the timescales. Will definitely be using Dalton in the future.

Fence works great and Andrew at Dalton Engineering was very efficient in resolving an issue with the kit (that the manufacturer wasn't aware of).

Ordered Gallagher Pet & Garden Electric Fence Kit – Solar-Powered Protection from them. Instead of the poles advertised on the site and on the package - they seem to be graphite (?) and not coated at all. The rest of the product is fine.

First time order, very impressed.
Helpful & polite team, very fast delivery - will definitely recommend.

Ordered black insulators on 1-2 day delivery. Was unable to find tracking after the first couple of days. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but again, could not locate after a couple more days so I reached out to the team (very late at night).

The MD, Andrew called me first thing in the morning and mailed with details about the mishap and offered replacement or a refund.
I was refunded before 09:15.

Am I frustrated? Yes.
Am I frustrated at Dalton Engineering? No.
I wish I had spoken to them sooner. Great experience considering the circumstances.

I would give 5 stars, though of course, I did not receive my insulators...

Communication and speed of delivery brilliant. Great to know customer satisfaction is still priority in some companies.

We did have an issue with an order, it did get resolved in the end and the correct order was sent out as promised

I just received an automatic poultry feeder. Great design and very sturdy. Excellent product. Delivery was quick and well packaged.

Dalton engineering are fantastic. We have used them for several years for spares/ parts for our poultry farm. It’s great having an easy to use online shop with all the essential poultry farming products. During the recent heatwave Andrew at Dalton Engineering went above and beyond for us. We were after a gable fan motor the Sunday before the heatwave hit. Nobody could help us apart from Dalton Engineering. Despite being closed we were able to get hold of Andrew who opened the warehouse for us to collect a motor at very short notice. He gave up his weekend to help us out. The help they provided us prevented the loss of thousands birds. Our poultry units definitely would not have coped without this gable fan being repaired. Fantastic shop. Fantastic team.
