Very professional

Very thorough, professional and helpful staff, always stayed in contact to advise routes forward to resolve issues. Fairly priced and very quick turnaround considering the amount of work required.

I am glad I chose to return to Dacks, every time their customer service has been absolutely superb, they’ve been responsive and really transparent about processes and costs. Got the issue fixed within the day. 5*

This company needs reporting to Trading Standards, the same thing they keep doing to customers
Ripping them.off horrible service amd the mechanics who do the horrible work should be ashamed of themselves. Greedy,lieing people across the board in that place

Do not use this garage Ever !

Do not use this garage ( lowest score should be 0)
My son booked his A class AF14!!! for water ingress into the boot area which he had diagnosed at another garage .
Due to this garage being miles away from where he now lives and works he phoned Dack Motor Group to book it in for a repair only to be told that they have to do their own diagnostics to avoid liability issues .
He spoke to me as I'm now retired but seeing as I worked at a Mercedes specialist as the Car branch manager ,commercial Branch manager and group purchase manager so I said to him I understood this and he would have to accept this standard practice.
The vehicle went in for diagnostics and they also gave it a health check and a vehicle fault code scan .The tracker on the vehicle shows how long the technician worked on it which included the health check and a vehicle scan so the garage spent very little time looking into the fault it was booked in for . In the hour allocated for diagnostics the rear boot trims could of been removed 0.6 hours and a water test carried out to confirm if water ingress was indeed coming from rear of the car possibly rear air vents or rear lights area.
They then sent a quote stating the technician cant be sure at this point and he needs more investigation time £297.00 on top of the already quoted £69.00 for 1 hour. My son rang to confirm what was included in the quote and was told the rear bumper had to be taken off, a water test and replace air vents if confirmed as the point of entry (which is the initial diagnosed fault he told to Dack Motors on booking it in) On this confirmation he proceeded to book his car back in for repairs as they needed it for 2-3 days to dry the carpets after repairing the ingress fault.
He dropped his car off as agreed and was surprised late in the day to get a call saying can we remove the bumper as it will make the car unable to be collected(why call if it's booked in for this and is required for 2-3 days at which my son had made other travel arrangements for work).
2 days later he gets a call saying he would need to spend another £800 to dry the carpets as they needed to strip out the car interior to remove them .I say why only the rear carpet was wet remove rear seats and just lift carpet and blow warm air underneath .
He then said no to the extra charges and arranged to collect the car expecting it to have been fixed even if the carpet at the rear were wet.
He was told would like his bumper refitted and if so it was another £99.00 on top off the £297.00 .
Wow can't believe this as I said previously I worked at a specialist so I contacted them to confirm the industry workshop time for vent replacement is 2 hrs as per Exentry WIS which is Mercedes workshop Information system on times and procedures this includes bumper remove refit and all relevant trims in this time .
He collected his car not fixed even though this was in the quote he was told the parts hadn't arrived and would take 5-7 days .This is a incorrect I logged into the Mercedes parts website and part number A176830270064 where on the shelf £9.65 Plus vat available for next day delivery. His car now has a fault with the rear parktronic system not working since it the bumper had been removed and refitted.
On writing this complaint about Dack Motor Lincoln, after my son tried calling 4 times. We emailed their service department addressing the issues to their operation director and owner for an explanation about the costs incurred and nothing repaired on his car. No replies to date.
I wait a response to this review.

Extremly expensive

An extremely expensive place will not be using that service again if you decide to use this service please make sure you get the hourly rate and the price for their parts which are very expensive they will jave no issue asking if yiu eant ro proceed with things but will happily leave out tellling you the price for their hourly rate or how expensive their parts are was told a part malfunctioned on vehicle when i asked how in what way it malfunctioned i am yet to get am explanation for that although the said part that their mechanic said was malfuctioning was brand new part that was in the vehicle how thay can say they are a cheaper alternative is a massive lie also when dack employess give you a time to call you back does npt happen i had to be calling back dacks days after said date dacks was supose to call me about my vehicle this behaviour happed more than once with dacks i seriouls regret not reading the reviews about dacks overy expensive parts poor communcation if i coykd give zero starts i would for an extremly expensive place they do not provide the service for which they charge a massive amount of money when looking at my bill i was shocked at hkw every thing for them is at over over priced range was told i got a 25 percentage discount on hourly rate but at the ebd of it after the discount hourly rate was still 103 pounds the mechanic seemed to only ve able to fix one thing per hour as lookijg at a charge something that shoukd have taken less than 30 minutes to do was billed at the full hourly rate it took the mechanic an hour to change one solenoid although there was other things to do that single solenoud cahnge took him and hour i looked at the bill and just shook my head 120 pounds for 1 single solenoid the 103.12 for hourly rate to do a diagonistic 82.50 then further investigation 247.50 then anothet further investigation 165 i agreed to have two checks done of the vehicle but more was done with them slamming on charges then the lady was trying to justify the etremly overprice things
I you make the mistake and use dack please get the prices first and also when yiu vo in asking have something in particular done they will try and get yiu to do other things even when yu never asked them about it or want it

Excellent service from advisor Alyssa…

Excellent service from advisor Alyssa who was knowledgeable and kept me informed at all times. I found Dack’s very competitive in their pricing and cheaper than a main Dealer, in my case a third.
I can highly recommend Dack Service.

Great service from all at Dack

Very accommodating as I was able to work while the work was done. There is a designated work space.

I was kept informed of the work to be done & the staff let me drop my car with them ahead of the scheduled time.

Sensible prices & excellent service

Sensible prices and excellent service. This was a better customer experience than Ive had with a main dealer, prices were sensible and staff have the knowledge and time for a frank discussion about what I wanted them to do.

I have been taking my mini to Dack for…

I have been taking my mini to Dack for 5 years. The service there is second to none, all the staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. There are no hidden surprises what they quote you is what you pay. I would definitely recommend Dack for price and the service you receive.

Excellent service First Class

My discovery required investigation regarding a water leak from the sunroof into the front passenger footwell, I was advised of the problem and the repair went ahead. As I am quite meticulous about my vehicle, and knowing there would be a lot of dismantling to effect the repair, after collection I did a thorough examination, it was as if nothing had been disturbed and I replied to Dack Motors, Lincoln to thank the technician for his attention to detail in the reassembly of the interior
