I've been having nothing but issues generating. The sync was totally off. The prompts for fixing didn't work. I tried AFFliks.com
out. It's almost flawless (with a few tweaks left and right). On top of the poor output on D-id, the options for editing are not working. All my attempts to edit those horrible three videos that I tried to generate failed. But the credits were exhausted. Customer support was polite and responsive but they offered no reasonable solution that would actually work. D-id is unusable even for an individual entertainment purposes, not to mention company needs.

The tool does not work. I tried two different tier of plan and the Video generation and lipsync is completely off for 17 second vid. The Video Avatar failed to generate after multiple tries and comsumed the credits. The support desk was not helpful. The free unlimited credit first month is a scam, premium $29 USD plan got exhaused in less than 3 vidoes for 17s , and some basic agent testing....most provide free plans better than this... boderline scam.

The membership auto-renews and then customer serviced refers you back to a 15 page customer agreement, where, in the fine print, it says that once a membership auto-renews it will not be refunded.

Terrible strategy by a start-up. I would not recommend this app.

At best, the avatars look like talking robots.

Appalling customer service.

Have tried multiple times to contact them and the people who answer haven’t got a clue what they’re talking about all they say is refer to our diagrams refer to our information.

You cant delete account. They will spam you with garbage messages all the time.

I tried using D-ID to create a custom agent/avatar, and it was a complete waste of time. The platform makes it nearly impossible to create a usable avatar — it gets stuck at 99%, crashes, or just doesn’t process. After several attempts and reaching out multiple times, I got no helpful response from their customer support.

Their service is disorganized, unprofessional, and absolutely not ready for anyone who needs a reliable solution. If you’re looking to create a virtual agent for your business or brand, avoid D-ID at all costs. Customer support is practically nonexistent.

Trash! This was the biggest waste of money and I paid for a whole year like an idiot. I'm not going to say what I want to say but I will say this......FIND A DIFFERENT SERVICE BECAUSE THIS ONE SUCKS!!!!

Absolute piece of sh@t. Tried to upload 20 different images for avatar – all random, newly generated AI images –, which are apparently "celebrities", at least according to their error message. The customer support button is broken, nothing happens when you click on it. AVOID IT. Thank God I user my revolut card for the purchase, I'll be able to easily block all future payment. (I read the reviews about extra charges.)

Terrible customer service and terrible avatars - doesn't do what they promise.

poor customer care tried to cancel subscription 2 hours after i bought it as it was clearly not able to do what i thought it could , asked for your cancellation policy still not received it, i have reported you to my bank.
There are better apps out there and companies who care about their customers

Avoid D-ID at all costs!

This is by far the worst system I have ever tried—a complete waste of money. The features they advertise are nothing but beta versions that don't work, and the rest of the system is completely useless in Firefox. Even in Google Chrome, nothing functions as it should.

I spent 4 hours trying to verify my AI clone, and it still doesn’t work. I uploaded 7 videos exactly as they instructed, and none of them worked. On top of that, they constantly push you to pay more by locking essential features behind an extra $108 per month.

Save your time and money—stay far away from D-ID!

I would not recommend this site at all. It is completely lacking in transparency, especially when it comes to avatars and the various settings and selection options. It’s frustratingly unclear how these features work, and there’s little to no guidance provided. If you’re looking for a straightforward and user-friendly experience, this is definitely not the place to find it.

6 fraudulent charges on my credit card from this platform. Never heard of it, never used it

I had a fraudulent charge from this place on my credit card. I never even used an app or their services. I’m 72 years old and could care less about their products. Do not use this company.

I used the "Create A Video" option. I'm not sure how anyone can use this product to create "education and training" videos with the restrictions it has. First, there's a 3850 character limit for the text. Yes, 3850 characters, not syllables or words. If you want to upload an audio file instead the max is 5 minutes, even though the maximum size of the upload is 15MB. Once a video gets generated your credits are gone. There's no going back and editing the video for free. The only edit option is "edit as new" and buy more credits as necessary. Because of the length of my project, 8500 characters, I had to create 3 videos (mp4s) and use ffmpeg to merge them. The interface is intuitive and very easy to use, it's the restrictions that make it unusable.

This is going to be the third month that D-id charges me for money. I emailed them many times to cancel my subscription because I failed to cancel it, I could not find the buttons right or left as they directed for the settings(it might not exist). Initially it was a free trial and I just browsed a little bit to see how it worked. But it was a trap,DON"T TRY IT or you will be charged every month and struggle to get out of it. Can anyone help how to get out of this sagga? Thanks

This app is the worst app on the planet. Who created this crap? So dumb. For $5.99/mo you only get 10 minutes of video a month? Like, What? and it also includes their stupid watermark. RIDICULOUS! Please do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

Worse experience, don't buy paid subscription. Every time got error.
Very horrible experience.

On their website, they only say that in the Advance package you can remove/replace the watermark with your own. What they don't say is that you need to be a developer to do this. Dinesh was very unhelpful, didn't answer any of my questions and suggested to rather fix this myself, and this while I have told him I am not a developer. Further, priority service is part of what you pay for as an Advanced user however, your priority to Dinesh means he may respond to your query 3 days later.

Never signed up for a paid subscription, got charged, and no reply from customer service after several emails. No online chat support either. Disappointing.
