Went to buy a new phone

Went to buy a new phone. An assistant came to me and guided me to a suitable young man to assist me in choosing the correct phone that would best suit me. He was excellent and I came away feeling how pleased I was with how it all went. It's a big thing for an old person who doesn't know much about technology. Brilliant young man. I am very happy! Thank you!

The delivery company used the intercom…

No problems with curry's but upset with dpd delivery.
The delivery driver used the intercom my father cant work and was at home i was in contact with him after speaking to him on the phone asking why my delivery got cancelled he told me he let someone in as we have a camera you can see them enter. When I got home I realised the lift was out of order so it seems the delivery driver just did not want to use the stairs to the 4th floor very disappointed with the delivery service. they left the building and took a picture of the entrance

I drove around 40 miles and purchased a…

I drove around 40 miles and purchased a Majority P3 from Currys Newport branch and asked for it to be delivered.
I was not given a receipt and was told that I should receive an e-receipt shortly by email.
Nothing was delivered and when I called the customer service, I was told that they couldn’t find anything in their computers about my purchase or delivery so I drove another 40 miles to go to the Newport branch to see what’s happening.
I got treated with indifference by the manager who just shrugged her shoulder and said “oh it’s a ghost transaction, you will get a refund within the next 10 working days” not a single apology for wasting my time and petrol to get there and back.
If you decide to shop from Currys, bear in mind that it is assumed by them that your time and your money is theirs to waste.

Staff recognition!

Went into Curry’s in Doncaster today to look at TVs and just wanted to say how much we appreciated Aidan’s help. He spent a good amount of time with us, never rushed us at all, and made sure we actually understood everything rather than just trying to sell to us. He was super friendly, patient, and happy to answer all our questions, which made the whole experience feel really easy and comfortable.

Big thanks to Aidan for taking the time with us today – it really made a difference. Definitely the kind of service that makes you want to come back!
