When used for drawing these nibs are great for very fine details, but perhaps a little small for outlining. The small size of Maru nibs means you'll need a nib holder designed to hold smaller nibs. If using fountain pen inks with dip pens, you may find the ink to be a little too thin to work well. We've found that specialist calligraphy inks give the best performance with dip pen nibs.
