We had Abby for our sale of and purchase of our properties and were thoroughly pleased with the service she provided. She was very responsive and available at all times to answer our questions. She chased multiple times when there were delays with other parties and took the stress off of us! We would use these solicitors again and will be recommending to our friends and family.

Laura Convey handled both the sale of our previous home and the purchase of our new property. Laura is a brilliant conveyancer! She is incredibly efficient, responded to any queries very quickly, provided really helpful advice and guidance throughout and is extremely approachable. Ours was a slightly more complicated process and we had to exchange contracts and complete on the same day. Laura kept us regularly updated throughout the day which certainly helped to keep our stress levels in order, particularly when our buyers funds hadn’t materialised until mid afternoon! In made such a difference knowing that we had a truly professional and competent person acting on our behalf. We cannot recommend this firm enough and Laura in particular.

Hannah was excellent throughout. The sale was frustrated by the other party's solicitor but Hannah ensured that despite this the sale and purchases continued to progress.

My wife and I bought a retirement flat and although it should have gone through fairly rapidly it was in fact a bit slower than expected - this was a stressful situation and gave me in particular a lot of stress (with other non-related problems added on top) so Lisa White had to deal with me and the problems caused in the process. Considering this she was very patient and kind. She explained everything that was happening and why there was delays and I know she accepted a few things we suggested that might speed it along too. When I finally spoke to Lisa on the phone she was lovely and nice to talk to - so do not get fooled by solicitors 'businesslike e-mails' they have to send.

I cannot thank her enough and her patience and tolerance is a credit to Cook Taylor Woodhouse and her profession in general.

Kim morris has represented me twice when selling and once on a purchase, all transactions have had their own complications or frustrations. I have total trust and faith in Kim, tied with the fact she will always keep me updated, the process was made a lot less stressful. I can’t recommend Kim enough!

Chloe Waller dealt with the sale of my mother’s house. Chloe was very friendly and approachable, her efficiency made things very easy for me. She explained every step of the way and followed it up with an email (there are so many documents to complete) if needed.

Andrew and Harvey at Cook Taylor Woodhouse supported us through both the purchase of our new home and the sale of our previous property. Managing one transaction well is one thing, but handling both sides concurrently, under time pressure, and delivering a clean outcome is something else entirely.
What stood out immediately was their work ethic and consistency. Andrew is sending emails from as early as 5am, and at no point throughout the entire process was a message ignored or a call left unanswered. Every email was acknowledged, every point was managed, and every callback was honoured. That level of responsiveness is rare and made a significant difference in keeping momentum.
Both Andrew and Harvey demonstrated complete control of the process from start to finish. There were multiple moving parts including tight deadlines, buyer delays, lender coordination, and complex timing between sale and purchase. Despite this, they remained calm, structured, and always one step ahead.
