AVOID!!!

AVOID!!!! The products is terrible. Breakdown EVERY YEAR since we bought it. Same problem of sensors breaking down and you pay 3500kr each time!!! They actually don't have a complaints department. Very very expensive to buy and to run!!! Another. Company would actually replace a product that continously fails but No!

No help with missing parts when you purchase

We purchased a Moen double stainless steel sink from CTC and have the bill to verify. We had a firm out to our cottage and they were trying to help us install it but there was a missing part for the spray unit. Upon taking the issue to CTC with the bill to verify and letting them know they could also confirm this with the workers who were assisting us, we were told they could not help us and we had to contact Moen. Still 4 days later we have no response after two tries. We emailed and also left a phone message. So we have gone without a sink for 4 days and who knows how long. A very unsatisfactory response from CTC. When the previous owners heard a concern they went above and beyond to help. Not the present owners of CTC Pembroke.

Flawful, costly product and apparently non-existent customer service.

I have had the CTC heat pump 614M model for just under 2 years and I am overall happy with the performance of the pump. However I find the build-quality and design to be poor and not in line with what I would expect from a heat pump that claims to be among the best.

I live in Denmark and have had CTC’s Danish service provider Gastech take a look at the pump.
Gastech installed a new propeller and grill, as the metal grill in front of the propeller was starting to rust after just 1,5 years. Gastech also switched the screws and plastic grips that hold the top cover of the 614M, as these were not gripping, the screws were rusty and it just doesn't seem to live up to its intended function (holding the cover in place) or to be functional for very long.

I also made Gastech aware that rust is showing in parts of the metal structure of the 614M and that the overall design seems flawful and the top cover leads water down the inside of the side panels.
Gastech told me I'd have to address my concerns directly to CTC, so I did.

I still haven’t heard back from CTC and so my concerns with the quality of the product I have bought from CTC, leaves me fearing that I might not have the well performing (and costly) heat source I thought I had bought for years to come.

Is that your version of “one of the best” CTC?
- It is certainly one of the most costly.

Avoid CTC…

Got a CTC Ground Source Heat Pump installed in new build house in 2009. Lots of teething problems over first few years followed by lots more expensive problems latterly. Winter 2018 and 2019 were particularly problematic. Spent over £5,000 on repairs to then be told I should replace the system when it lasted only a number of weeks before further breakdown. Currently having a whole new system installed. Avoid CTC at all costs. I found the product unreliable and CTC dismissive when there was a problem. They have very poor Engineer coverage in UK and so you will have to cover travel costs before any work is done.
