I am trying to report a train that's blocking intersection and they want everything from you before you can report it which is foolishness! The truck drivers can't turn around because the trailers are too large to turn around in that small street while traffic is building up! They want your address full name and every ridiculous thing they need to make a change about that because they are black in the Street as we speak..
I was a brakeman and conductor. I did not have a regular time to go to work. I went when I was needed. That was the worst part by far. I worked 28 years this way. After that I worked a regular shift. As far as the work, not bad. I worked a lot of overtime. I retired at 60 years of age, with full benefits. Worked 36 years. Yes, it was a hard life, but my retirement is good. To be honest, I would not do it again.
