I had a truly appalling experience with this company. I completed a “trial shift” where I worked a full day without a single break, completely misled into believing it would lead to a secure job. In reality, it felt like I was deliberately used as a day’s work to support already exhausted staff, with no genuine intention of hiring me from the outset.

After the shift, I was ignored for days when I tried to chase payment. It took repeated phone calls and numerous emails just to receive money I had rightfully earned, something that should have been handled promptly and professionally.

This was deeply unprofessional, dishonest, and exploitative from start to finish. I’m genuinely glad they got what they deserved.

I have since heard that this has happened to many other people, which sadly does not surprise me. I genuinely hope that everyone affected like I was receives everything they are owed. I also hope the owner sees the growing number of negative reviews and takes responsibility for what has been happening.

The owner, came across as extremely arrogant and unprofessional, more interested in showing off than actually running a fair and respectable business, and that attitude clearly reflects in how people are treated.

Great business model. Disrespect your employees and clients. Sell off off your assets to your sister company then make your original company called Millermarquees liquidated. Proper Job.

This company has treated my friend, who is preparing for their wedding, in a completely unacceptable way. Communication has been poor throughout, and several commitments they were relying on have not been met. My friend paid for a service that has not been delivered as agreed, which has caused a great deal of stress during what should be an exciting time. The lack of reliability and follow through has been deeply disappointing. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company for any important event

Scammer associated with miller marquees. Avoid.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Crown structures is a new company associated with the recently dissolved Miller Marquees .
Miller Marquees were booked to supply a large marquee and service tent for a wedding this year . We discovered that the business had folded only after we had concerns about lack of communication and a worrying lack of knowledge on his subject .
There are rules about writing reviews and I can’t go into specifics as much as I’d like to but please take this as a warning and do not go near this company . The owner is a total charlatan . He claims to be an ex yacht captain, offers dubious discounts but most importantly, has come to my home, knowing full well he wasn’t ever going to deliver the marquees and has stolen a huge amount of hard earned money from a young couple who are getting married in a few weeks . The irony is his wife has pictures of their wedding day all over Facebook - I wonder how she would have felt if this had happened to them .
It has genuinely made a huge dent in my faith in humanity. I’d be happy to discuss this further with anyone even thinking of going near them .

Connected to Miller Marquees - same guy and setting up this company and trading illegally. He took £16,000 from my partner and I and we have no marquee before our wedding. He misrepresented himself and has stolen money, turned off phone, won't communicate on anything but email and when he does he threatens action against couples who have used him. He owes £50,000 plus to uni kids who worked with him last summer. We know planners, florists and photographers who won't use him. He has left us with no marquee and in financial distress and having to rescale our entire wedding weeks before. We have lost £16,000 and now more out of pocket paying for a new one.

Do not touch this company. Have a look at miller marquees on companies house. He has set this company up as a shelf to try and continue trading as miller marquees with a new business entity. He has stolen a significant amount of money from us. We have been left out of pocket £16,000 and without a marquee a matter of weeks before our wedding. Please feel free contact me to discuss.

Warning to anyone considering Miller Marquees or Crown Structures. My student sons along with many others worked full time over the summer and they were never paid. Despite repeated assurances and promises payment were not made communication from owner were evasive and misleading statements were used to keep the team working. Equipment and site support were substandard.
To make matter worse Miller Marquees has since gone into liquidation and Crown Structures has taken over operation but not they are not taking responsibility for outstanding depts. This was unprofessional. unfair and unjust. If you want to hire a Marquee or orangeries in 2026 I would recommend looking else where people are paid and health and safety standards are adhered to.
