Thought I'd try crown white Matt emulsion and wow it's shocking !! It reminds me of a smart price version . I've seen thicker soups than this paint . WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN . Waste of money and looks like I have to go back out to buy a better brand !

Painted with a lot of colour Matt paint, this is the worst. So watery. Given up after purchasing a lot and will do second coats with something else never again.

Absolutely terrible coverage - in the process of painting ceiling coving, which, though slightly yellowed from last decorating, is still white.
On my 4th coat and still looks patchy and greyish.
I don't have time in my life for another coat!
Just going to have to cut my losses and buy Dulux or similar. Infuriating, as I bought two x 5l cans so not much change from £80!
Shame - used to think Crown was a quality brand - don't know what's gone wrong!

Crown paints especially the emulsion, is absolutely rubbish. Four coats for a ceiling and it wasn't a bad ceiling, three coats for an already white wall just needed freshen up, never buying this rubbish ever again. No wonder it was £6 cheaper than the Range's Wilko brand, bought that and was much better. Crown used to be good, they might aswell sell coloured water.

I have been speaking with Eric who has gone above and beyond after we realised crown no longer ship samples to Northern Ireland. He has been incredibly polite and helpful, and is a credit to the customer service team and the wider company

I've always had a great experience with Crown Paints. The staff at the Clacton On Sea Branch, are consistently polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. It’s clear they really understand the products they sell and are always happy to offer advice or answer any questions. Whether I’m working on a big project or just need a small touch-up, I always leave feeling confident in my choices thanks to their support. Excellent customer service and products every time!

Purchased Sadolin extra from crom store in Dereham to use on garden 2 seater
Sanded down existing sadolin as directed and applied 1st coat. Did not cover well. Let it dry and gave it a 2nd coat. Let that dry. Not a good finish and just touch it with anything and it scrapes off too easily. Won't use it again. Wasye of money

I am used to using different paint brands. Having chosen Crown acrylic satin, mixed to a Mc Person's colour, I feel I need to write a review about it.
Being Summer and painting an inside panelled door in the midday, I must say that I disliked using it. It doesn't remain 'open' for long enough.
I can paint well, and quickly but this paint had me having to work faster due to it setting sooner than other acrylics. Despite doing this, painting up to a previously painted edge, that edge is dragged and an unsightly effect is made. It goes on well but its' composition is not satisfying. Compared to Rustoleum and Rustins acrylics, this Crown paint does not get a good rating at all.

This has to be the WORST example of a website ever.
Nothing seems to work, including searching and recognising my postcode. Oh, well, there is always Deluxe paint I can buy!!
Hope your marketing people of proud of their efforts.
Sadly I won't be supporting them with my hard-earned cash!

I thought I was ordering a small sample of Snowfall emulsion to match against current paint in house, instead I appear to have received a paint sample card with the colour on it
This was billed at £3.99
The cost of this is no more than 10p + postage
This is disgusting to say the least and criminal at worst

Crown Pure Brilliant White... Don't waste your time, the coverage is terrible. I've just thrown away a nearly full 10 lite pot!

Crown 'One Coat' is a joke. My woodwork is grinning at me like it knew.. I can see it will need a second coat at the very least. It only had to cover a pale primer and it failed. That's another day I have to waste painting when it should have been done already.

This is from anther review. I have experienced it exactly the same issue.. terrrible paint. Ended up getting dulux black gloss and repainting the same 6 doors.. Couldn't stand the look of the doors..

Now on my third one litre in of quick dry gloss Anthrosite and it’s a nightmare! Ive painted 6 door and my bannisters twice and it’s dried awful then when I tried to go over it it’s even worse.Dont but this paint it’s awful

I have used Crown Elle paint. It was amazing. No spilling dots. I have used Pure & Simple, Highlight colours. Amazingly beautiful and way better than Dulux to be honest. Also Crown craft brand Family Tree was a lovely colour too. I will always use Crown going forward.

This paint from the Crafted range has terrible coverage. I’ve done dark over light, light over light and light over white, and in every case 2 brush coats is nowhere near enough to get a flat finish. It’s patchy as anything like one coat of any other paint, horrible finish. I’ve not got the time or energy to do three brush coats as I’m doing several rooms and we’re trying to live here, so I’ll just have to live with the results but I’ll never use this awful paint again.

Absolutely disgusting people to deal with.
They charged my card, never delivered the order, and never answered the phone or responded to emails.
I disputed the transaction with my bank.
Stay away from this crowd.

Bought a 5 litre tin of crown milk white, now on my 3rd coat of this paint and still looks patchy, very disappointed with this paint quality, it seems a very thin runny paint, if I can't get a good finish I'll have to go and get some dulux to cover it.

Shame I had to put one star..I have used 4 x 10ltr pots of silk emulsion doing a lot of painting and i have never used such poor paint in my life...4 coats later and it was still still patchy and it didn't even look white let alone brilliant white...I went and bought some other well known brand and wow I now have brilliant white walls..I would never recommend this paint if you paid me...its complete rubbish and has cost me a lot of time and money
