They call and constantly harass my father. I have called up and asked for their Ico details and been told that they are not sure. Their website is not GDPR compliant and they have also been massively fined by the ICO for making an absurd amount of unsolicited calls. My advice stay well away

Company forced unexpected sale on vulnerable grandparent, believing it was a quote they had tricked her into purchasing an extremely overpriced door claiming her current one was unsafe(?). The door was not unsafe and they had in fact lied to her and pressured her to sign for a ridiculous price.

Cold called my 80 year old mother and used classic pressure selling techniques to convince her to put a deposit on a new double glazed door (that she definitely does not need or want).

Luckily, we read the reviews on here regarding difficulties recovering deposits and acted quickly to get her bank to stop the payment.

Even if you did want new windows and doors, would you really want to deal with people like this?

I knew that my windows needed to be replaced so when Crown Glazing contacted me and quoted a good price, I decided to go ahead with them. The fitting of the new windows has taken quite a long time due to my availability and Crown Glazing. However, once the window fitters arrived, they worked quickly and kept everything clean and tidy. Unfortunately a pane of glass was missing and I had to wait a couple of months for it to arrive. Apart from that, I am very pleased with the windows, they kept us warm during the winter!

I had 12 windows a composite door and a french door at the back.
Absolutely brilliant workmanship they got the lot done in the day, the windows and doors are fantastic and good quality i can't fault Crown Glazing one bit i only ordered them about 5 weeks before they came and fitted them.
I would recommend Crown Glazing to anyone.

After agreeing to a survey to see how efficient my windows were and then given a very hard sell, nobody came to measure the windows so I cancelled my order on the 9th May. I’m still waiting for my deposit to be returned despite several phone calls. Shocking that a company can effectively keep hold of your money almost feels like stealing.

Windows and doors are excellent. I didn't have to wait for fitting a long time but once I paid they don't care. First time I been ringing for 5 months just to get warranty. Second time I needed them to come back and fix wrong fitting windows.. its been two months now and they told me 5 times they gonna come.. I took holidays and even unpaid days at work just to wait for them.. they never came. Looks like once you pay they don't care anymore.

Crown glazing quoted us for 31 replacement windows of which the majority had failed and needed renewing.
They replaced just the glass as the frames were still fine. They did an excellent job for a reasonable price.
Would definitely use again.

After a clear explanation of how my windows could be refurbished and the benefits of such I had a quote which was around the figure I expected and as reviews seemed positive and the contact professional I went ahead with a replacement back door and refurbished windows on all of the back of my property.

There was not too long a wait for the fitting date and I was kept informed and a surveyor came when expected to do a survey prior to fit.

The workers who came and fitted the door and windows were polite and did a clean & professional job and walked me through what had been done and use of the new door etc when finished. They tidied up all mess before they left.

I had to get them to return to deal with a stiff latch but that too was hassle free and would happily recommend.

The security of the door and locks is a comfort and had good feedback from a security review.

Had both my front door and back door in that high composite as my previous front door was leaking every time it rained, had it done just before that storm hit the other day and I had dry flooorsss! So happy. Very quick and efficient. All staff are lovely to from the customer service to the fitters. Thanks crown can’t wait for my glass replacement next so will update on that once done!!

your customer service is diabolical we had a large window replaced whish was scratched you agreed to replace it the men came but had no suckers so the could not fit the replacement, the next time the man cut his hand so could not work, the next time it was to windy ,the next time they damaged the glass, the next time they forgot to put the replacement glass on the van then the next time the men went to pick up the glass they said they could not lift the glass this has been going on since February my wife is not happy but no urgency to rectify the problem

Overall a great experience, had a full glass replacement and the difference it makes is amazing, it looks so much better rather than have misted up windows, Ive had several quotes but this was the best deal. From the customer service to the fitters everything ran smoothly. Thanks crown will recommend

Crown glazing were very efficient fron start to finish and we were very pleased with them. The two men who did our windows were very pleasant workers

We have been very impressed with Crown Glazing from the first contact to the finished job they have been very professional and did not try to sell us or push us into buying something we did not need. It has been a pleasure dealing with this company. Everyone we have dealt with either on the phone or in person when measuring or fitting the window have been very friendly and helpful. we can fully recommend this company and will not hesitate to use them again

Can not fault Crown glazing for their efficiency. From the initial quotation to the fitting of two new windows / back door and replacing existing glass of all other window in the property it took 14 days.
All associates that we delt with were polite and professional, at no point did we feel pressured to go ahead and purchase, the salesman actually told us not to replace glass in one window as it was already at the standard of glass they were promoting.
Measurement man was again friendly and professional, double checked all the details.
Fitters were friendly and professional and conducted work to a decent standard.
The difference in warmth retention was obvious with a few days.
Overall value for money and would recommend to anyone wanting to replace their wondows/doors.

Please be very careful of this company. A couple of un unsolicited calls in January 2023 referring to possible grants to replace old inefficient windows led to a visit from a salesman. After being told there are "no grants available in my area", I was offered a sizable discount, (first red flag) and told "this offer was just for today" (second red flag) I placed my order knowing by law, I would have at least 7 days to do background checks on them and go through my finances before financially committing myself. I cancelled my order within the a few days and was told my deposit would be returned to me in the form of a cheque being posted out to me “company policy”!

Honest and Truthful. THEY ARE MOST DEFINATLEY NOT! I WAS TOLD ON NUMEROUS OCCATIONS THE DIRECTOR WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO COULD SIGN MY CHECK AND HE WAS OUT OF THE OFFICE.
Always put the Customer first. AGAIN, A COMPLETE LIE. THEY NEVER CALL BACK WHEN THE SAY THEY WILL. ONLY DO REFUND BY POSTING YOU A CHEQUE, (company policy) WHICH THEN SEEMS TO GO MISSING TIME AFTER TIME.
Simple and straight forward. YES, UNTIL YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.
Continuous Improvement. THEY MUST BE MEASURING FROM A VERY LOW STARTING POINT.
Exceptional Aftercare Service. INITIANALY, VERY PLEASANT ON THE PHONE. THEN BECAME INCRESINGLY PATRONISING AND DISSMISSIVE AFTER RECONISING MY VOICE.

I've had new glazing and my French door replaced. Would like to say that I'm very happy with the job. The price was reasonable for the quality of the product. The fitters were polite and professional and very tidy. I'm so pleased with the work they have done for me, I'm now looking at getting my conservatory done.

Saying they are called just called Crown and they are conducting a national energy rating survey and will test the energy rating of your windows for free. I asked if they are just trying to sell glazing and they denied. Once appointment time confirmed they call you back calling themselves Crown Glazing this time and basically just want to quote you for new windows 'Oh and doing the free survey'. But for some reason they can not do the survey unless both of the home owners are present. Presumably because they just want to push for a confirmed sale on the day.
