This company does not want your business

I don't know why I am still ordering from Corningware when I have had so many problems. The workers seem to be helpful but they are on a sinking ship.

I placed an order in May and the order was cancelled but I never got an email notification. I used a private mail box as a shipping address but there is a po box associated with my account (a billing address). Even though the po box address was not used for billing or shipping, the system somehow picked up on it and the order was cancelled because they do not ship to po boxes.

Now I am trying to do an order but my entire cart was deleted after 15 minutes. I was logged in and I re-logged in but everything was gone. As I was trying to re-create the order, the website completely shut down.

Corningware sends you coupon codes in your inbox when you are browsing, but the coupon codes never work. I have never run into a company with so many glitches. They keep running sales but maybe they are having trouble getting business because nothing ever works correctly!

Customer Service Is Terrible, Could Not Cancel Duplicate Order!

Tried to place an order and then the connection was lost. I tried again, thinking that since the first order had not gone through, and I got a conformation email for two identical orders. I immediately contacted customer support via email as it was after hours. They sent a case # , but they still have two orders. I then called them and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they couldn’t remove one of the duplicate orders! I called back after I had cooled off and the option menu says “press 1 to cancel an order”, etc. I pressed 1 and spoke to a man named Jacob, who told me that they could not cancel the duplicate order. They gave me the tracking information, as they had printed out the UPS labels and they said that I had to drop it off at a local UPS store! I’m 82yrs old and at high risk of catching Covid. It’s just unbelievable that they cannot cancel an obvious duplicate order. I’m going to try to stop one of the shipments through UPS. I called Amex and complained, but they said they can’t do anything until the order has posted.
I looked this morning and this company has shipped the items. However Amex is still showing that the charge is pending! It’s just unbelievable how BAD their customer service treated a customer. I don’t have any issues with paying for the extra shipping fee for the duplicate order, but I don’t need to have this many items from this store, nor do I need to deal with returning these items when they could have just simply stop the shipment and charged me for the shipping label they had already printed!

Last time I will ever buy Corningware or Corelle products online or from a store!
