I'm a middle-aged patient (not a doctor) with congenital (from birth) heart disease, but otherwise healthy. Due to systemic bias in cardiology, not recognising HFpEF (heart failure with preserved ejection fraction) or RHF (right-sided heart failure) on an equal footing as HFrEF (reduced EF) and LHF (left-sided heart failure), I was fighting a losing battle.

Despite numerous mechanical/structural and electrical issues, with stage4 RHF, two different Tier1 centres (for Adult Congenital Heart) dismissed my case as 'moderate' disease: 'no intervention required and symptoms not cardiology'!!

I used AI to study cardiology - enough to get a basic understanding to fight my case and understand how to get independent proof.

Step1: a medical-grade ECG. (For pacemaker detection we cannot use the cheaper consumer devices). Contec's device is 10,000 frequency, which is medical-grade and well-suited for my case.

A single run for a few hours was enough to get doctors scrambling, as I finally had evidence of critical and severe dysfunction. AI saw several screenshots and confirmed the device is high quality.

Fortunately I should now be able to get a pacemaker upgrade that will fix some of my issues. For this I'm incredibly grateful - it will likely expand lifespan too. Without - I'm at a critical stage. This is a genuine review - nobody would be so heartless as to make up this kind of tragic story.

Is the product perfect in every aspect? No. Let me also share the negatives:

1) Not necessarily Contec's fault, but I bought the device directly from a 3rd party, who must have sold an 'older box' with electrodes past expiry date - so the sticky part wears off and they fell off easily - my short-term fix was using sticky tape on top. But electrodes are cheap and easy to buy. AI advised me to try 3M electrodes instead.

2) Leads: They are about 0.9m. That's fine for lying still, or applying all leads top half of the body. But for my case, I needed a very accurate QRS interval - this meant placing the limb leads above wrists and ankles instead of just below neck and lower abdomen - so we need longer leads. There are some 3rd parties selling 2.8m, compatible ones, which I'll try next.

3) Software: I had to get several versions - the first one from that 3rd party, as well as the index code in the box were older, outdated versions. It was only at this point that I contacted Contec support directly. I dealt with 'Jimmy'. I'm telling you Jimmy was excellent - daily emails; he got me another software link; English was fine to understand and yes the software version he gave was fine. He even sent a video on use as the manual needs improving - certainly the English translation.

4) Software Interface: would benefit from an upgrade e.g. ditch the icons and replace with standard top level and second level menus. Also include X top right of every pop-up so that we can easily close any window, regardless of screen size.

In my case I needed overall averages and a few screenshots to pass to cardiology - this was enough
to get me, what should turn into life-saving treatment - hence this warrants a 5-star review.

I did notice multiple websites: different URLs for seemingly the same products. I do not believe this is any kind of 'scam'. My best guess: lack of 'SEO (software marketing) knowledge'. I work in software. Why do companies buy multiple URLs?
a) to stop competitors grabbing them
b) to limit spoofing as a security measure
c) for email campaigns.
Their mistake is not applying "301 .htaccess redirects" so that every url redirects to a single website, so that clients are clear.

I got a Contec abpm 70 blood pressure monitor portable cuff recorder. Whilst the hw works ok? slips arm down easily. The software needed to get the results onto a pc is a nightmare. Link no longer works for download - its a nasty piece of work. £120 for what? I cant see results. Dont buy from them anything

Just bought kh100 blood sugar meter,tested first thing in morning reading 82 for me very low tested again twice in 10 minutes,reading of 170 and 196 how can I trust these readings,also the instructions you dont need a magnifying glass to read them you need a microscope !

Let me echo this same suggestion; "They should rename this company "Conjob…They should rename this company "Conjob Medical Systems". They sell total off-shore garbage and don't honor the one year warranty".
I purchased the 'Portable ECG Monitor 'PM20' ". and it includes the so-called 'instruction sheet' that requires a microscope to read. As far as I consider it, "I DO NOT HAVE A INSTRUCTION FORM TO OPERATE THE 'POS' FROM CHINA JUNK TRASH".
China is turning out super quality items, check out Harbor Freight some times BUT the TRASH does not need to be finding the USofA as a dump area. 022325.

They should rename this company "Conjob Medical Systems". They sell total off-shore garbage and don't honor the one year warranty on their pet blood pressure monitor. Not even close. After having this piece of @$?%& for only 2 months, it kept timing out and was virtually useless. Ebay was no help at all either, when it comes to helping resolve this dispute. Gotta love getting ripped-off !!

I first wanted to return the vet bp monitor because they sent it to me with the wrong cuff size. After close to 3 months of email back and forth I simply gave up. It is impossible to return the device, to get a replacement or simply to right a wrong from their side.
So I bought smaller cuffs and tried it next to my vet’s bp monitor. No single reading was accurate, actually the readings were so far from the professional bp monitor that it could be deemed dangerous to monitor your pet’s bp at home with this device!

This is a blatant fraudulent website. They will not issue refunds at all after faulty good were returned. Avoid at all costs

I recently bought a CONTEC kh-100 gloucse monitor through the Ali express website.The contec monitor is giving reading in mg/dl at over double the reading of a Accu -chek Performa monitor a vast difference and the CONTEC monitor can not be trusted

Several years ago on ebay i bought a CMS50DL pulse oximeter which appears to be a real device from CONTEC MEDICAL SYSTEMS CO.,LTD.

Recently i wanted to get another unit for a family member and found a multitude of what appear to be fake units, i.e. counterfeits claiming to be from CONTEC. Notice the capital letters, that is always used on the real units, but the fake ones use lower case, among other things, that require very detailed inspection to discover.

contecmed is a completely fake website, the subject of this page, that sells counterfeit fake units.

contecmed is not CONTEC MEDICAL SYSTEMS CO.,LTD., and it makes me wonder that the capitalized website may have been hijacked too. When i sent an email with a picture to ask about the fake units i did not get a direct answer, but was directed to buy one from contecmed.

Notice that the LTD is missing here on this page. It is little differences like that they can use to get away with counterfeits. Buyer beware, there are greedy crooks and fakers on the the internet.

Ordered theCMS8000 Vital Signs Patient Monitor Multi parameter with CO2 Capnograph+ Printer and they didn't install the CO2 software. They don't reply after 5-6x contacting them. They are not trustworthy and are crooks. Don't buy anything from them.

The documentation of their pressure monitor is only a pdf that is not helpful when you try to use it, wrong worded and only in english (my native language is spanish).

I had luck to find a COLOMBIAN doctor that kindly upload a video where he shows how to use this device. Is impossible for a company upload tutorials on video for medical devices?

Anyone contemplating to buy medical equipment from Contec Medical Systems Co. Ltd. in China please beware of their seemingly unprofessional business tactics. I am sharing with you below my recent less than satisfactory experience with this seller, who operates under a variety of names: Contec Medical Systems Co. Ltd., Contec Medical Store, Contec Medical, Contec Medical Consultant, Contec Medical System, Contec Online Shop, Contec Medical eShop, Contec Flagship Store, etc.

From Canada, through AliExpress.com, I ordered a piece of equipment (24 Hour Ambulatory Automatic Blood Pressure, Oxygen Saturation, NIBP + Pulse Rate + SpO2 Patient Monitor Model PM50) from Contec Online Shop.

After my payment was verified by AliExpress, Contec sent me a message saying that due to certain virus in their system, they have listed a wrong price on their website. Contec suggested that I should cancel my order or pay a higher price. I responded saying that I really needed the patient monitor. Contec did not respond to a number of my subsequent messages.

Upon my suggestion that I would bring the matter up with AliExpress, Contec quoted me a price which was 8 times higher than their original listed price. Since I really needed the equipment, I had to agree to pay them the higher price, which I did, through AliExpress again.

However, upon closer inspection, I found that the new quoted price was actually for a superficially similar, but a lower and cheaper model which only does ABPM but not Oxygen Saturation, Pulse Rate, nor SpO2. Contec sneaked in this Model No. ABPM50 instead of my original order for Model No. PM50. After I pointed out the discrepancy to them, Contec stopped responding to my messages. By any standard measure, this is unprofessional conduct.

Seeing that I could get nowhere with this seller, I made a formal complaint to AliExpress, requesting them to investigate the case to see if the seller meets the AliExpress touted standard on business conduct and integrity. It took AliExpress one whole month to give me a response, basically saying that it is not their business.

So then the current situation is that I paid money (twice) to AliExpress for the merchandise. The seller is not shipping. And AliExpress does not seem to care.

I therefore suggest here that anyone who is looking at buying medical equipment from Contec Medical Systems Co. Ltd. should carefully confirm the price and model number and obtain an expressed guarantee that the item will be shipped as promised. Alternatively, there are other more reputable sellers in other more established and more reliable e-commerce sites like Amazon and eBay, who will stand by the buyer to obtain a fair deal with their sellers.
