I would like to recognise great Customer Service received following recent correspondence with Jonathan Roberts. He was extremely helpful and I appreciated the way he handled my enquiry regarding VAT on invoices. My feedback has also been acknowledged with a suggestion of reviewing the original invoice structure to show a breakdown of VAT on the original invoice to reduce unnecessary administration. Teamwork makes a Dreamwork. It was a pleasure to correspond with you and I am sure are a valued employee!

I booked a provisional CSCS card that specifically said that I did not need any other exams.
Then before you get the card they say you need to do an HSE Test and that costs more.
I phoned up and asked for a refund and they said there is a 50% cancellation fee.
I said why? Because our T&C’s say for doing absolutely nothing we charge 50%.
Find another company and avoid being scammed.

I needed a CSCS card as a subcontractor and when searching on Google this website was the first result that appeared and having never had a CSCS card before I thought it was all legit.

I filled in my card application first which cost £65 then applied to do a HS&E test which cost another £65.

Alarm bells started to ring after an hour as I didn't receive a test date/time. So this is when I again searched for a CSCS card, but this time I came up with the official CSCS website, and also reviews for the Construction Worker Support (CWS) website.

After paying £130 I then immediately contacted CWS to ask for a full refund, I received a reply fairly quickly advising me that the cancellation fees would be £54! I replied promptly saying this was extremely excessive as they hadn't done anything at all, so they agreed to reduce the cancellation fee to £20.

Now, on the official CSCS website you can't apply for a card until you have passed the HS&E test, this you can book through them for £22.50, you also get to select your time amd date during the booking process. Then once you have done the test you can get your card application done, this costs just £36. This is considerably less that the original £130!

I feel lucky that I managed to get a good refund, however I wish I'd seen and read reviews about CWS first!

If this review saves one person from paying well over the odds for a card from what is just a middleman then my review has done it's job!

I guess that what CWS are doing is offering a service which isn't illegal however, they are taking good money from people who (like myself) fell into the wrong website, a website which has one price on the screen and a different price at the checkout stage, they are also taking payments for a card which you can not get until you have done the relevant tests!

Jake was extremely understanding and attentive to the issue I was experiencing. He listened carefully, communicated clearly, and resolved the problem efficiently and in a timely manner. I am very satisfied with the service provided and really appreciate his professionalism.

This company deliberately pays to appear at the top of Google and designs its branding and website to look as similar to CSCS as possible, which is clearly intended to mislead people into thinking it’s an official or affiliated service.

I was charged an absolute fortune just to book the test — around £80 more, effectively double the cost of booking directly through CSCS/CITB.

Nothing about the service justifies this markup. The only reason people would use this company is because they are tricked into believing it’s legitimate or connected to CSCS.

This feels like a deliberately deceptive operation that profits by confusing people and overcharging them for something that can be booked far cheaper through the official route. I would strongly advise others to avoid and book directly with CSCS/CITB instead.

Absolute scam.
Just pay to be top of Google and make their company look similar to CSCS in order to trick people into thinking it’s legitimate. Then charge an absolute fortune just to book the tests- overcharged me by around £140 (double the cost of what it would be to do it through CSCS/CITB.
Just a deceptive scam trying to steal from people by looking as similar to CSCS as they possibly they can.

Useful for renewing CSCS cards, process was smooth with no hassle thanks to Jonathan's help. Jonathan was really helpful in explaining the process and answered all enquiries appropriately

Do not contact this company under any circumstances, as they charge twice as much as it costs on the official website. I contacted this company by mistake, as I thought it was an official company that makes cscs cards and transferred 65 pounds to them. After 10-15 minutes I realized that this was an intermediary and asked them to return the money. But they did not do it. Do not contact this company under any circumstances, they are scammers.

I am writing this to warn others. I personally investigated this company before handing over my data, and here is what I found:

1. Serious Data Privacy Risks. They asked me to email highly sensitive documents—my Passport, Driving Licence, and National Insurance number—directly to them.

I called the reception at their registered address (14 King Street, Leeds) and the receptionist confirmed that this company is not physically there. It is just a 'Virtual Office' mail-forwarding service.

Combined with the fact that the Director is listed as a resident of India, this means your sensitive ID documents are likely being accessed from overseas with no secure physical office in the UK. Do not take this risk.

2. Company Stability Warning This company (Construction Worker Support Ltd) recently had a 'Compulsory Strike-Off' notice issued against them by the government (The Gazette). This is a major red flag regarding their stability.

3. You Pay Double This is NOT the official CSCS site. They charge £65 for a card that costs £36 on the official government portal.

My Advice: Go directly to cscs-uk-com. It is cheaper, safer, and you upload your documents securely yourself. Your data is more valuable than £65 you have to pay

I want to thank this company who has heaped me hugely, I did try to cscs my card back but unfortunately I’m just not capable returning by to site,

I just wouldn’t recommend this website when you can go apply for your CSCS cards for half the price.
When you’re not happy and don’t want to processed with the application even though it hasn’t be accepted yet, you’re hit with a £24 fee which isn’t stated please stay away and use a better service.

Please don’t fall in the trap of the using this website for your cscs applications or exams for the health and Safety cards, the normal price is £36, when here it costs £65 and if you’re unhappy and want to decline the application it’s a £24 fee which isn’t stated before purchased

The whole process to renew my cscs card was very easy. They effortlessly booked my test at very short notice. I asked about the progress for the card and was contacted very promptly. Willian Jones was very professional

The service is extremely poor.they booked me a test in Welsh and didn't want to rebook the test for me.I finally got a rebook after a lot of back and forth.
I requested study which I paid for but they send me a lot of rubbish mock questions. Nothing in the material was useful for my test.
Really disappointed.

The booking service is easy to use. Communication was very timely and very clear and my overall experience using the support site was excellent, they are going far and beyond to help us, the construction workers.
