This company has scammed me for over $100.00 and keeps telling me to be patient. I ordered and paid for it via PayPal, thinking it would be safe; however, it appears that PayPal accepts people's money for this company and does not follow through with their company policy; this is the second time PayPal has let me down.
A t-shirt ships from Ireland to US - stuck in transit...
Oddly, a friend of mine ordered a shirt from this company. I loved it. She sent me the link from which she ordered the t-shirt. I placed my order on 11.18.23. Supposedly, it shipped from Ireland, went through both US and Ireland customs and has been stuck in an Oklahoma City USPS facility since 12.17.23. Email update requests began through Whitecloths.com, where the order originated. All responses are automated. I've since contacted PayPal to obtain a refund which took me to Shiyel. Responses are still automated, but I am hoping PayPal is able to assist. DO NOT TRUST sites whitecloths.com OR Shiyel.com.

Avoid this website! Whatever price they tell you at checkout and in your confirmation email, you will find 20% added on top for tax. If you try to cancel it they don’t reply to emails and their website is a chatbot that can’t process refunds. It tells you it has referred you to a human, but the human never comes and you never hear from them. It takes them a few days to put it in the post and a week after that my order is still sat at US customs. I tried to complain about the tax to PayPal, but didn’t get anywhere. I thought websites had to declare how much tax they are going to take as that’s always the case in the UK, but perhaps because it’s coming from the US (which you only find out after ordering) maybe the roles are different. So now I have paid over the odds for something that hasn’t arrived and won’t be able to return it because Commonplacey don’t reply to emails.

Should be zero. I email them daily on their customer service page. They are charlatans and fraudsters. I too keep being told to be patient. And allegedly my order is awaiting despatch at a Birmingham Post Code. When 8 looked this up it is a disgusting block of flats. Not a courier company. They won’t give any details of who is sending it, when it was despatched, when to expect delivery.
I am annoyed with myself for being taken in and will never buy from a company I don’t know, advertising on Facebook orvInstagram again.

The tracking has supposedly now been updated as delivered on the 2nd Sept, the same day as it cleared customs! They advertise on Facebook under different names avoid like the plague

However in their defence they did respond to my emails to keep telling me this stating the cost would be very high. £3 compensation has been increased to £4 and I can keep tge awful goods. I spent £40.

Would leave a zero too if I could. Googled the company to check reviews before ordering and all looked ok. Wish I'd waited a week or so as there's still no sign and I see I'm not alone. Tracker says my goods are in Manchester and have been for weeks.

Scam company. My order was placed on 3rd August, supposedly delivered to Oxford 31st August, nothing since. Just keep telling me to be patient, won't refund cos its on its way. Would have given zero if it was available. I will be looking at reviews before I buy again
Appalling customer service, disgraceful trading standards.
On 1st August 2023, I placed order #15202S28881 with Commonplacey for two swim rompers in sizes 12-14 and 22-24 for a total of £34.18.
A week later, I contacted Commonplacey because I had not received confirmation of dispatch. On 8th August 2023, I was told by support@commonplacey that 'The freight forwarder confirms that your order is still in transit. The system has not updated the latest shipping information. We have urged them to update it. If we receive an update on your logistics, we will give you feedback.'
On 10th September, I contacted the company again to express disappointment and request a refund only to receive this answer, 'We are so sorry for that. We have asked the carrier to expedite transportation speed. But sometimes logistics have some delay. We've urged the update of logistics information.' On that same 11th September, I wrote back to insist on a full refund. The company replied, 'We are so sorry to keep you waiting but please kindly understand that we could not offer a refund as the order has been sent out. We can not stop the shipment. We promise that we will keep contacting with the shipping company to urge them expedite your parcel. It's almost there. Sorry for the inconvenience and hope you can get it soon.'
On 14th October, I sent a very serious message to the company announcing that today, 16th October 2023, I would be contacting several consumer rights regulators to get help, given that the items have not arrived (two months after the order) and the company refuses to provide me with the requested refund. I am also publishing this review today. If deleted, as others have claimed, I will keep republishing. I have endorsed the help from Companies House, Trading Standards and Citizens Advice in UK.
Ordered swimsuits in August
Ordered swimsuits in August, the parcel has apparently been in Cardiff since 25th September, I'm still waiting delivery, I could have walked there and back to collect it. Being constantly fobbed off by automated responses to my emails which I send every day. I was originally overcharged by £9.49 which I did get back. I have asked for a refund as the parcel has obviously been lost. I will have to write this off..... Please do NOT use this scam company.
