Avoid this bank, the security guy keeping clients outside like a sheep's waiting for their food !! The costumer Service is like robots 🤖 without emotions or respect. I was 7x times at different branches to open new bank account but without any results. European ID card is not enough, you need to bring passport, you need to do your identification online, you cannot do identification online you need city registration, city registration shout net be older than 6 months..... and so and so and so. 2 months like this , at the end neighborhood bank done for me account in 5minutes just with ID card ....

Please avoid this bank if you care for your money. They are not even capable of making simple transfers without costly mistakes - when I phoned up the Customer Service to ask them to fix it, the rep just said I had to speak to the Branch and then hung up....the branch could as well be on the moon, as they are never available so this leaves me with little hope. Recently Commerzbank wrote to me to say my accounts would be frozen and that I should call urgently - however, reachingt them by phone is impossible as they never call back or respond to emails. Also Commerzbank decided to pay US taxes for me without letting me know (around $6,000) despite my not being American or having any links with the US - their attitude throughout was defensive and grumpy and it took 6 months to get a refund. Please learn from my experience and avoid this bank.

The best online bank I've tried. I owned more than 10 bank accounts in EU. Commerzbank's email support as quick as N26. Less buggy and more secure than other online banks.

0 account fee but each instant transaction takes 1.5 EUR.

I really had bad experience with commerz bank .
I have opened my account with commerz bank 6 months back as my salary account .I was not using it frequently but my salary is getting deposited in this account . But suddenly account got closed and I cant open the account with commerz account any more and they were not telling reason .
Please stay away from commerz bank
