My experience with Sahaj Trader
My experience with Sahaj Trader, Vadodara and COLOR TILES has been extremely disappointing. I placed my order on **23 May 2026** after being assured of delivery within **10–12 days**, but the material has **still not been delivered**. I was then promised delivery by **15 June**, followed by a firm commitment of **25 June**, both of which were missed. On **29 June**, I was informed that production had not even started, yet another assurance was given for delivery by **5 July**. These repeated false commitments have caused financial loss, mental stress, and delayed my home construction. I strongly advise customers to verify the actual delivery status before placing an order instead of relying on verbal promises.
Easy to use website
Easy to use website, quick to get order complete, confirmed and sent! Received within a couple of days even over Easter weekend!
Narellan Colortile Anthony
Anthony at Narellan was outstanding: extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful in guiding us in decisions for our build. Nothing was too hard and he offered the same excellent service and attention to all who came through the door.
I just ordered some samples and…
I just ordered some samples and received them very quickly, still in the planning stage but loved my samples
Terrible service, extensive delays and negligence.
Their products are good but the services leave much to be desired. Colortile are the preferred supplier for Creation Homes who built my house and were responsible for the tiles around the fireplace.
A very poor job by their tiler was reported on 20th October at the PCI stage and despite the site supervisor’s best efforts, this has not been fixed as of 10th December! The site supervisor representing the builder had already informed them even prior to PCI that the tiles were not done properly and yet this is what a client is going through.
I paid a premium price for the fireplace and the selected tiles comprised over 1/3rd of the price paid for the fireplace per se. The tiles were expensive but very poorly and thoughtlessly installed, leaving gaps in between that looked very tacky. It seems like a job of a 10 year old, not of a professional tiler. Though it was pointed out at the Practical Completion Inspection stage on Oct 20th, the tile company reps did not visit to take stock of the situation and ensure a fix in time. They started taking action only after move in and reminders which by itself didn’t help given the mess the tiles removal and replacement process was going to create. It would have still been ok had it been well planned and implemented seamlessly. They should have simply replaced the tiles upfront but instead suggested grout be used to fill the gaps, presumably to find a quick fix and save their costs, which when tried looked worse, so more time lost.
They were good enough to agree to have them removed entirely and replaced and I do appreciate that. However, they should have done that upfront rather than blame the tiler and look for a quick fix. The tiler was then asked to visit to remove the tiles, it left behind an ugly unpatched wall with gyprock pieces on the floor that was not cleaned properly, a floor covered with a layer of dust with more bits and pieces consistently falling off the nib wall which certainly wasn't a pleasant site especially when having visitors over, despite frequent mopping. The builder then sent someone to patch the wall and one had to then wait for completion of the job.
Colortile then offered to have the replacement tiles delivered first, adding the tiler would come when free. There was a huge ~2.8M * 1.2M slab for the top of the fireplace wall left in the garage on a large pallet brought in with a forklift which was not called for unless the tiler was coming the same day. They should have cut it to size or at best a tad larger for a buffer but a huge pallet? The area to be covered itself measured ~ 2.18 M * .450 M. The pallet left behind in the garage wasn’t convenient as the tiler wasn’t free to install straightway. The main item: the tiles per se came the next day and had to be left on the driveway. Everything then revolved around the tiler’s availability whereas they could have diverted resources to make this happen given the prolonged delay and also as they didn’t do a good job installing a pricey product. Fixing the tiles quickly was the least they could do to make good for the stress, mess and the inconvenience the prolonged delay caused. No matter how many times I asked it to be fixed explaining I was having visitors over and that it’s not a pleasant site, there was no sense of urgency shown.
Eventually the tiler came – this tiler was a good one - and started installing the tiles, only to realise there weren’t enough tiles to complete the job! Again it’s time for the client to live with their negligence and put up with ugly concrete blob stuck on the floor and a wall half done. This tiler was good but couldn’t complete the job for want of material. So this time it was the estimator’s fault, last time it was the tiler’s.
Someone from the Colortile team should have ensured the correct quantity was delivered so that the job could be completed the same day but they were negligent on this front and failed yet again. I did mention I was having visitors over this weekend, just like I have been saying in the past, seemingly that fell on deaf ears too.
Back to the drawing board now, waiting on the tiles to be delivered and then for the tiler to fix them. As per Colortile the extra tiles have been ordered but there is no ETA.
One can imagine the plight of a customer in a brand new home amidst festive season with an influx of visitors, and what was supposed to be a matter of pride – an expensive fireplace as a feature item - is now an apologetic site, with a partially tiled and a partially patched wall!
Furniture had to be moved around and moved back multiple times, adding to the inconvenience. Coming up is another weekend with visitors and it’s really disappointing and a huge letdown that leave aline making good in time Colortile don’t have an ETA either.
If anyone were to ask me if I would recommend them, the answer would be a NO.

Great service.
Colortile was the only place I could find that stocked the small number of extra boxes we needed to finish a job. Anna at Colortile was wonderful, finding the same batch number so the colours matched. Highly recommend.

Best online purchase ever.
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with an online purchase.
I’m always nervous making any online purchase as you have to place a lot of trust in people you don’t know and whether the products being advertised are genuine or consistent with the advertising.
The tiles are exactly as displayed on the website and yours was the only website I found that had these tiles on offer.
Great service. Thank you.

Good, reasonable and not damaged
Good product, reasonably priced, delivery was received within indicated time frame and shipment was in good condition. No complaints at all with the product.
My only negative was the inability to understand which tiles were rated interior and exterior, adding this to your website within the choices ie Matt P2, Textured P5 would have been extremely helpful.
Sample tiles and instore advice…
Sample tiles easy to choose and arrived in a few days. Went in store (Narellan) for some advice and was greeted warmly. He also spent quite a bit if time answering our questions and helping us sort colours. We will definitely be back to order our outdoor tiles.
