If I could give ZERO stars

If I could give ZERO stars, I would.
Colin is RUDE, ARROGANT and Condescending. Not a nice person.
Treated me like I was an idiot. He may know how dogs work etc., but is extremely rude and does NOT know how to talk to humans.
I left a session with him, as he reduced me to tears. He knew my family background and STILL embarrassed me in front of everyone else.
I must add, I have trained my male GSD myself after the fiasco with Colin - and my dog is a perfect gentleman.
Colin looks down on people. He does not know how to interact with humans. And gives the wrong information about dogs in general.
I have met many other dog owners in our area... and they ALL have the same opinion of Colin.
Simply RUDE.
AVOID.

rude, arrogant and insulting

Genuinely the rudest, most insufferable man I’ve even met. I strongly recommend you avoid like the plague! Met him for two sessions - had to leave half way through the second as he upset and annoyed me to the point I couldn’t take it any more . As the other reviewer says he talks and talks AND talks and doesn’t listen at all and seemed to argue and make rude comments for the sake of it. He barked orders but didn’t explain at all the goal of the orders. I haven’t a clue how he has ever helped any one.

Colin has bullying tactics, arrogant and doesn't listen.

Colin from the get go was rude. He walked into the house and didn't respect that I didn't want him to wear his outdoor shoes in the house. He rudely said it was for his health and safety. If that is the case, bring a spare or covers.

He then sat at the table and spent the next hour talking to us. This guy simply doesn't listen to you. He is arrogant in his approach and will spurt out what he thinks but not listen to the issues you would like to have addressed with your dog.

Colin spent the consultation talking at us, suggesting it was our fault for various reasons, telling us to use lickie mats and kongs for our dog because his dog uses it and it works for him. He said our dog needs mental stimulation and less walks. When I said our dog gets over stimulated with kongs he ignored me and continued talking at me.

We had a follow up session with one of his trainers who works for him. She was so much better than Colin, she listened and gave us some training tips.

Colin followed up with the session and said he wanted us to get bloods for our dog so that he could see if there were any problems with his hips. I spoke to the Vet who said he was happy to send over notes to Colin to say that our dog was good to have further training and that his physical condition wouldn't affect his training BUT Colin kept pushing for bloods. This as you know is unnecessary and expensive. At this point I was getting annoyed and upset that Colin kept pushing and pushing and wouldn't provide further training if we didn't get the bloods.

Colin has bullying tactics, arrogant and doesn't listen. I wouldn't recommend giving him any of your money or time. Horrible.
