Extremely slow. The app doesn't work well and it's very frustrating. I recently downloaded the app and I'm deleting it today. Don't waste your time.

I have been having problems trying to…

I have been having problems trying to cash out for a $5.00 Amazon Gift Card on my Coin out app but it is not sending me a verification code to my e-mail which has been happening all this week. Customer service is not helpful in resolving this matter. Will not update my e-mail address as requested.I feel my account has been blocked or locked since no verification codes come to my e-mail address & they are doing nothing to fix the matter & not taking this serious.Very poor communication not knowing how to resolve issues. No phone number details to contact them in person.Problems have happened everyday since April 7th 2025

Worst app ever

Worst app ever. They will screw you over massive. If you do have it cash out at $5 if you wait and try to cash out $25 they will find a reason not to cash you out. They will copy and paste you fake policies that they suddenly discover once you try to cash out. I guess they are okay with $5 cash outs but don’t break the bank with $25. Save yourself the time and use Fetch, Pogo, Receipt Pal, receipt hog or any other app. They are legit and hold true to their cash outs!!!

Coin out sucks

Coin out sucks. It is totally unfair for them to wait until someone wants to cash out a reward before they decide they're going to block the account. It should never be a problem that someone sends a copy of a receipt that they received from a friend or a family member. They have too many rules that are not specified prior to submitting receipts. These bastards owe me $25 that I tried to cash out with PayPal but because my account was blocked after I submitted a reward they will not pay me. I think it is totally unfair because I earned every dollar messing around with them. Coin out sucks and I will never use them again.

Everytime I try to log in it tells me…

Everytime I try to log in it tells me invalid password for my email!! Why do you need my email?! Than when request code, they only give you seconds to put it in and it expires! It rejects all codes and have to request a resend code! I have no idea how to get through to the app! I want all my data deleted, along with this app! It is complete trash!! Garbage!! Time was wasted on this rubbish! It's no good! Horrible!!

You work hard saving receipts and taking pictures and doing surveys but the minute your email just connects and it's the end of the month you get punished ! Ridiculous

What went wrong is I liked the app when I first seen it. And I became a diamond really fast and that was by mainly scanning receipts and saving them. I got up to $47,000 points which is 526 receipts something like that a lot. I go to get a $50 gift card from PayPal and I got pushed back to platinum because at the end of the month my email just connected. So they act like the hard work is putting in your password and connecting to your email. And it's not a hard work is saving the receipts taking the time out to scan them all and sometimes you know taking pictures of the food the barcode for points that you bought that's where the work is not a disconnection of the email and now with my $47,000 points it's all locked up but it's $10 gift card that is bull you know what! Come on coin out get a grip stupid stupid think about it really think about what you're doing to people putting them backwards because they didn't put in a password before the month ended to their email Matt you couldn't read our emails or find out enough information for the month. You really shouldn't be connecting to our emails in the first place but since we're all struggling I want money we do it. So we're pretty stupid too when we do that so what are you going to do. Tomorrow I'm going to talk to someone on chat I wrote four emails to support I didn't get one email from them back all month really supportive huh? Not! I will text them everyday chat with them everyday until they change it back so I can get my PayPal and close out my account

Good app, no problem here

I waited until after redeeming my first reward to write a review so as to be thorough. I have really had no problem with this app. They process the receipts within minutes instead of days even though they have a disclaimer saying it may take up to 3 days. I just redeemed my first $3 gift card through Amazon and it was easy and quick. I see the bad reviews here, but that has not been my experience.

This is the shittiest app ever

This is the shittiest app ever! They are constantly rejecting completely valid receipts. I never really paid attention to the receipt log, and I've found countless rejected receipts that are not expired/invalid, and then they had the nerve to mark one as a shared duplicate when it was the only receipt from family dollar submitted that month. This company needs to get their shit together for real!

Dissing on the Disabled

CoinOut has become very greedy. They used to give you 'coins' for any receipt that was on your account. I was always considered a "Diamond" level shopper. Now I opened the app today and found I'm back to Bronze! huh? Why? I made over 20 purchases last month! Oh they only want paper receipts that they can then sell the data and make money off of. They don't like it that I shop online. Well guess what CoinOut... I'm legally disabled. I don't drive and rely on home delivery. And I will have absolutely NO PROBLEM making it clear on every review site that I can find that your policy makes it difficult for the disabled to be treated fairly on your app. So quit dissing on the disabled! Until you do... count on seeing more reviews like this.

CoinOut—imo—is definitely worth the little time I invest into it.

I participate in a number of “scan receipt for points” apps and Coin Out is one of my favorite. You can use any receipt within 14 days of purchase and depending on your level on how many points you receive. It doesn’t take much to level up just connect certain apps to your CoinOut account. So, I’m at Diamond level and earn 50 pts per receipt. You def don’t make much but it doesn’t take long to scan receipt and you can can get a $3 Amazon gift card when you have 3000 points which would be 60 receipts. I usually wait til I reach 9500 pts and get a $10 gift card and I can usually reach 9500 pts in a month and a half to 2 months. Considering it only takes a second to scan receipt; you don’t have much time actually invested to earn $10. I don’t shop as much as some so I’m sure some may be able to get there much quicker than I. To me every $10 helps and as I stated earlier— I participate in at least 8 “scan for points” apps and Coin Out is one of my favorite. If you purchase certain items; some apps are better because they’ll give more points if u purchase that specific product. With CoinOut, you just scan receipt and get points— no specific products needed or available— depending on how you look at it. Long story short— CounOut -imo- is definitely worth the little time I invest into it.

CoinOut. To good to be true? Yes and a waste of time and effort. Food Journals and Barcode scanning and legit receipts and still blocked when it was time to receive $60 PISSED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!!

I have been doing their food journals, scanning barcodes and sharing receipts for 8 months and had almost 60,000 coins and then was blocked. I never cashed out the whole time as I was waiting to to get the most money I could for a special occasion. I think it's legit to block you if you were being fraudulent but I wasn't. It's absolutely b.s. I also do Receipt Hog, Fetch and Frisbee and have had no issues but I went ahead and cashed out because I'll be damned if they are going.to waste my time. I had to dig in the garbage to scan barcodes and went above and beyond to only be blocked and dismissed like the trash I dug through. All my receipts were actual receipts. They never scan my emails for receipts. So I stared emailing support and they blocked my account. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!

This site is a scam

This site is a scam. They get your passwords and get your receipt copies and when it is time to cash out for a gift card suddenly your account is blocked. Do not trust them.
