While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

The content quality is extremely low

The content quality is extremely basic, the videos look and feel very homemade, slow, and difficult to follow. Even the true/false quiz is overly simplistic. I understand it’s meant to be a recap, but the overall methodology and production quality fall far below what I expected from a paid course.

I don’t want to invest more time and money in something that clearly won’t help me grow. I requested a refund so I can use that money toward another course on a different platform but they didn't accept it because of administrative reasons.

Enrolling in Coderhouse’s live Product…

Enrolling in Coderhouse’s live Product Design career was a huge disappointment. Out of the four courses included, only one was actually worth it. Two of the following courses repeated almost the exact same content, making the experience feel redundant, unstructured, and ultimately like I had just thrown my money away.

To make matters worse, the last course, which was originally supposed to be live, was switched to Flex mode without any prior notice. This version is much cheaper and lacks the same level of support, yet they didn’t adjust the price or refund the difference.

The lack of structure, transparency, and consideration for students is unacceptable. If you’re thinking about enrolling, think twice.

I love it

I love it.
Keep in mind you have to who watch all the videos for the week, read the material, practice, search the web for more info, try the stuff you learned that week, play with the code, write down stuff, quiz yourself, and then to to the zoom class ready to rumble.
When you finish, keep learning, work on six or seven projects, the bigger the better, show them on your website a in the portfolio section, have a professionally looking LinkedIn, a professionally tailored CV, prepare yourself for interviews and technical challenges from potential employers, and then your chances of getting a job raise up.
If you only come to the 2 hours zoom class and get a certificate it's going to be difficult out there. I suggest you work hard and get ready, CoderHouse is a great place.

Good - if you're not a very good at self-learning

The courses are practical cause you have homework to do, which is great, but in some cases, the homework is easy.

They tell you that you'll be able to enter the labour market, but you will upload a final project that they post online along with thousands of other students, so I don't see the real opportunity there.

Teachers are good, some of them, others seem to be new and not very prepared.

I finished two courses on this platform; definitely better than the usual platforms with recorded lessons cause you can ask the teacher in real time, but not as good as I expected.
