I did the training course for making a willow animal. Instructor was very good and helped us along as the structure progressed. Took the whole day (10-4:30) and was well worth it. What I liked as well was the smallness of the group which was limited to 6 and made you feel as part of a family.
I enjoyed my visit on 13th June 2016, but my return visit on 14th June 2025 proved to be much bigger and better. How you have grown, and for the better. The woodland walks, with willow woven dinosaurs of all types around every corner, proved pleasant in the dappled sunshine. Elevenses, in the Lemon Tree cafe, followed by lunch later were both delicious and swiftly served.
Visited on a Saturday so no guided tour, but will come back again to enjoy that. The museum had grown too, containing so much history. The DVD film about the family Coates and the business is not to be missed.
