My first Probate
This is the first time that I have had to go through Probate and the Co-op Legal Service made the process so easy. Every step of the way they kept me informed as to what was going on and what to expect. This is obviously a very delicate situation but they were very considerate and I cannot thank them enough for their help and support.

Great service
It’s good that the Co-op give you a fixed price and an approximate length of how long your case might take at the start. We had a bit of blip halfway through our case, in that we were assigned a new case handler and then a third one within the space of 2 weeks. But this turned out to be for the best. Our final case handler NNC (for the last 6 months) was superb. She was very efficient, friendly and approachable, quick to respond to queries, always did what she said she would and would pro-actively call us if she needed to, rather than always relying on emails when a quick call would be better. She was a real pleasure to work with. In general, calls and emails were always replied to within 48 hours at the very latest.

Incredible service, amazing price, and a stress-free experience!
I was absolutely impressed by how easy it was to sort out a mirror will and power of attorney for my husband and me.
To be honest, I didn't even know this trusted household name offered will services, but their pricing was amazing.
We were a bit apprehensive beforehand because giving up an evening felt daunting, and we worried it would turn into a high-pressure sales pitch.
It was completely the opposite! Andrew Ford, didn't sell to us at all,he just spoke to us openly about wills and guided us clearly and patiently through every single stage.
He was incredibly helpful and made everything so straightforward that we managed to get it all sorted in just over an hour, which we really didn't think would be possible!
He completely took the stress out of the evening. We can't thank Andrew Ford enough and highly recommend this service!

Clear and easy to complete the initial information gathering online.
We were told that the phone conversation would be 90 minutes, but it was very thorough, informative and helpful and answered all our questions. Our advisor was also friendly and empathetic and happy to repeat information that we didn’t understand, this made even the difficult decisions possible. Thank you.

great service for people needing more support
I am on the Autism spectrum and my mother is elderly and not very computer literate so we both have somewhat elevated support needs and were extremely happy with the service received so far. We are using the probate service and, as anyone can imagine, it is a difficult time to be dealing with a lot of necessary and often time-critical admin.
Jo Salih was dealing with us for the initial consult and explained everything in as much detail as we needed and was very calm, patient and knowledgeable throughout. She explained the steps and walked us through so we managed to go from thinking we could do it ourselves to being very happy to pay the fee during the initial consult.
The costs were well explained and broken down for us so we could feel comfortable paying and the flat fee and no cost upfront means no surprises, which is something that suits both people on the spectrum and people on fixed incomes.
We weren't members of the coop before, despite already having used their funeralcare services and using them again now. Well, now we both are, so it just goes to show how much trust was able to built up over one phone call.
We are very happy and looking forward to their support through this difficult time. If everyone in the team is like Jo, I do not foresee any problems, and if there are, am confident that the team can help us through it.

The Co-operative Legal Services team are good value
The Co-operative Legal Services team (mainly Carla Jerram) has been excellent. They have promptly answered emails. When there have been delays – such as getting grant of probate – they have explained why the delay is occurring. The fee (compared with other legal expenses from other organisations) has been excellent value.

This is an excellent service. We spoke at length with Sarah Gray, an estate planning consultant about all aspects of our wills and power of attorney. Sarah was very informed and personable, and at no point did we feel rushed, and there was no hint of hard sell about the interview. It was nice to do it on Zoom, we didn't even have to leave the house! We now feel quite relieved that we've sorted everything out to our satisfaction.
