Clockwork Removals and Storage - Glasgow Reviews 

We had some difficulties during our move with Clockwork, but were willing to overlook them as understand things don't always go to plan. However, I wouldn’t recommend Clockwork to others for the following reasons:
-I raised an insurance claim after the move because our dining table was damaged beyond repair. Clockwork’s insurer would only offer us 1/4 of the value of a dining room table. So I was left out of pocket £150 for the table after paying around £200 insurance to cover possessions during the move.
-When I raised a complaint with Clockwork management regarding this they initially committed to following up but then stopped responding to all further requests I sent for an update.

So my experience with Clockwork can be summarised as follows:
-Some commitments made during planning were not followed through
-Poor customer service after the move
-Insurance sold cant be relied on if something goes wrong

Really happy with the service provided by Clockwork from our initial enquiry, booking, and to the on the day removal. Staff all very helpful and could not do enough to ensure that our removal went smoothly, could not fault anything. All our furniture etc moved without any hiccups with the guys more than happy to place our furniture where we needed it in our new home and checking all well before they left. Very polite and well mannered. Would definitely recommend and use Clockwork again. You definitely get the service you pay for.

We moved from Glasgow to Edinburgh in December, and the Clockwork guys removed all our stress on moving day. They arrived on time and kept me updated with their location throughout the day. They were at my new address 30 minutes after the keys were released. I would 100% use them again for any future moves.

I found it hard to choose a removal company, but I was very happy with my decision.

Good service no issues of note

Great service from initial contact to arriving at new property.
All staff were very helpful. Tommy and Jamie who did the move were hard working, good humoured and kind. Especially when I panicked as the cat hid under the kitchen sink cupboard for over 4 hours and I began to get stressed about it. They were so reassuring that we would not leave without her.

A real waste of money from start to finish tbh.

The people who came to do the collection complained that some loose items weren’t packed up and that it would take up some of their time to pack them therefore they would leave behind some bigger furniture. I agreed to this but then they left behind the boxes that they’d packed anyway?!

Then we paid an additional charge for them to dismantle and rebuild our kid’s bunk beds. They dismantled it but then when returning it refused to rebuild saying that it shouldn’t have been dismantled as it wouldn’t be stable if they rebuilt it.. so they essentially destroyed the bed and didn’t even refund us for the service.

I think the people who were supposed to rebuild it just couldn’t be bothered as they turned Up two hours late so it was the end of the day.

Rotten experience.

Called Tuesday and my first question was if they had availability for our moving date. They said yes so proceeded with a visit/ quote later that day. Got quote the next day, accepted this to then get a call late afternoon the following day to say they weren’t available - but they mentioned the wrong date (day before our move date). Said they would check for the correct date and call back. Didn’t call back, I called them at 16:55 to be told they were fully booked. Wasted two full days and left it so late in the day to confirm, that we now can’t try to book others til tomorrow (a Friday). Thanks a lot.

The men who manage to get the huge lorries safely into small spaces, and then pack vast numbers of boxes in amongst dismantled furniture, in good humour and with patience, possess rare skills.
Unpacking at the new place requires even more patience.
The really difficult stuff is navigating enormous vehicles into difficult streets at awkward times of day.
Long hours of driving on top of the careful handling is extremely demanding. The Clockwork teams are superb at managing all of this. I am so grateful.

Great removal co.professionals and it really did go like clockwork, from phoning Maggie in the office and the removal guys nothing was to much trouble even waiting till you get the keys which is always a worrying time.
Don't go for the cheap cowboys youl regret it.

Used the full pack and remove service, the guys were just brilliant. Very efficient, very respectful with our belongings, extremely helpful, above and beyond expectations.

The guys were very flexible with us, often making changes at short notice and nothing was a problem. 10/10 recommend!

The staff are fantastic and extremely hard working the mammoth task of clearing out my parents house was daunting to say the least .
One person was sent to clear out and pack a three story house with 3 bedrooms lofts attic and cupboards we didn’t stop and ran out of time before it was completed .
I called the company back and explained it would have probably been better to send two people as we didn’t complete the last part and they sent me someone the following week for half a day which more or less covered the rest of what needed to be done .
Thank you again your staff are extremely hard working and deserve recognition.

Move well organised, however certain items went missing completely.

Excellent packing service and the moving part was great too. A great team overall. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

The team were amazing, right from the start. Brilliant communication and the guys were so friendly and helpful, they all went the extra mile to do a really good job. They managed the two point pick up and offload into our house really efficiently and with great humour. They kept us informed about progress and when they expected to arrive at each place. We met them at our large storage unit, and once it was unlocked we were able to leave them to empty it, as we moved to our second pick up point. The team worked really efficiently and were able to fit everything into the lorry in super quick time. The three guys then offloaded into the house really quickly and were so helpful and they helped rebuild some of the furniture. The team were a delight to work with. I am so glad we found Clockwork and will definitely use them again. We are delighted with the stress free move.

I booked relatively last minute (less than a week before my move) and was moving from Glasgow down to Cirencester. Throughout the process Clockwork were flexible & helpful despite the last minute nature of the move and my less than 100% accurate inventory. The move itself was multi-stage, they picked up on a Tuesday and dropped off on Thursday. They kept in touch through out, were careful with my things and efficiently tetris-ed my belongings at the destination storage unit to minimze the space used. I'm very grateful to them and am very comfortable highly recommending them to anyone

Clockwork Removals provided excellent service for our recent move and storage needs. The entire team was friendly, professional, and made the process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend their services!

Good removal. Limited troubles. Very professional staff. Insurance costs high and not all necessary. Ran into trouble with so many boxes and slightly disappointed that they were not picked up in stages. Storage space in new property was limited on downsizing and had to call in family members to return in stages. OK overall. But insurance costs very high!
