A bit complex but versatile

I have theit software has a few years now and it surprises how much versatile it is. The interface can be a bit confusing at start but you can do a lot on it. Their subscription plan is a bit confusing and takes a time for you to be able to manage the codes.
I remember they billed me twice but their support was effective and solved the issue real quick.

Don't do it!

Don't do it! It's a scam! I paid $58.50 (plus another $1.47 for the foreign transaction) for the pro version. I can't even use it! They sent me an activation code that had already been used so I couldn't use it to activate my software. I contacted the company many times and their only (broken English) answer is that it has already been activated so they can't help and they won't send a new code since they are convinced I activated it. Of course, I can pay another $11 to update the software, but there is no guarantee that will fix the activation code problem. I have filed a fraud claim with my bank so we will see where that goes!

company tricks you into trying it out…

company tricks you into trying it out and then forces you to pay subscription fees later you didn't know about or want. once you see the charge, it is too late and they will not refund even if you try to cancel immediately and never wanted it.

Quite good but a little performance heavy

Good at what it does, but with performance issues compared to others like SAI. (not as bad as Photoshop though).
The license verification system will get you in trouble, but the support is quick to respond.

Great program, terrible license planning

CSP is an amazing drawing tool. In my honest opinion it can rival Adobe Photoshop.

But their licensing plans are a mess and confusing and honestly getting worse with every update. V1 perpetual license could be used on two devices, but now v2 and v3 is only available for ONE DEVICE.

They are doing everything in their power to make the annual plans more enticing, but I don't want a subscription and not own the product. I want my OWN product.

CSP is getting worse, and unfortunately I cannot seem to find other drawing programs, even free ones like Krita and Gimp (Not saying they are bad, just not for me), be a suitable replacement.

I hope CSP listens to their users, but I really do not think that will happen anytime soon.

Such a great product, hurting from horrible plans and licenses.

Worse licence system and plans

Worse licence system.
You have no access from their website to your account, so is not an easy way to review your plans.
If you sign up for a free trial and then change for an Unlimited License they don't erase the previous trial licence (even if IS for the same product). So you still could be charged for the end of the trial until you cancel directly that.
They don't give a refund.
You can't erase your card details in your account/profile settings.
This company is not taking serious to the customers service and offering a pitiful system in its software.

Stole my money

Stole my money. Got email month ago that year subscription ends in 30 days and that clipstudio changed payment system so I have to renter my card details. I went to clipstudio account to remove my card but it shown there are no cards and only asked to enter new one, so I did not enter new one. And month after they took money for a year subscription even there was no card attached. After contacting clipstudio support they refused to refund. Stay away, it’s a trap, use only single-use cards if ever decide to buy anything from them.

The best software I have found for my…

The best software I have found for my drawing and painting needs. I currently use MOHO for animation, but it is on my todo list to use Clip Studio for this also. I love Clip Studio for it's price point and ease of use plus all the added features. This is how software should be!
