Awful experience

Awful experience! Lloyd’s couldn’t care about mental health at all! I am a “High profile” case because my mum was murdered! I have received access to my case notes from CEO complaints handlers and the information is shocking! I have it all in black and white! I have arranging a protest outside the London Main office until someone senior speaks to me at great lengths face to face. Anyone who has been dealt with unfairly by Lloyd’s contact me privately so you can join the protest outside the office will also have 7 news reporters there!

Stay away from Lloyds commercial…

Stay away from Lloyds commercial banking for invoice finance arrangement. It’s a sham and they routinely and deliberately apply charges on your account for apparently not receiving payments from your clients on time only later to find out the payments are sitting on their system for ages worse still they are unwilling to accept wrong or provide any reasons for not locating payments in timely manner. As result of this sham practice they hold your payments back and ultimately you are on worser position before you started with them. Currently taking them to court for what on the face of it appears I have been defrauded.

The most useless bank EVER

I would put ZERO stars if I could...

The most useless bank EVER. If you need assistance, no worry, they will leave you with your problems.

I used to have several private and business accounts with them. Got an issue with my business card, it didn't accept payments anymore... called them, they cannot do anything, went to the branch, cannot do anything. I decided to close my business accounts for a bank with a better service. OMG, it was a challenge to close them. The branch "couldn't" close them, they said I have to call online. I called, they said I have to go the branch. After multiple back and forth I grew tired of such a terrible and unprofessional staff.

I finally got the address to write my closing letter after being mad at the guy on the phone. I always try to remain calm but when you have an issue and the staff, that is supposed to assist you, CLEARLY doesn't care and doesn't even try to help you...

I couldn't run my ads for my business because of them and had to transfer all my money to another account. And I do not even talk about the issues I got with my private accounts. Among them, I changed my phone number a year ago to found out before going on holiday that it was not the case!!!! (I have been to the branch and asked SEVERAL times if the number has been changed).

I don't know whats the hell is going on with these people but damn there is something clearly wrong with the training of their staff (if there is any).

I have just one account left but I am in the process to transfer everything and close my last account for good. Having accounts at Lloyds Bank was such a terrible experience.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK IF YOU WANT TO AVOID HEADACHE.
Their staff need a clear customer service training, that's unbelievable...

Impossible to get anything done.

Impossible to get anything done.

I've banked with Lloyds for business for a few years now, had terrible experiences of trying to get anything done. Their call centre gives out incorrect information and doesn't annotate the account for next time I call.

In branch do the same thing.

I've had enough, have quit and moved my account.

Lloyds have taken all available funds…

Lloyds have taken all available funds and terminated my overdraft facility, not willing to reinstate even when ive told them I need the overdraft to pay for my dads funeral which has just taken place, they have left me without any available funds for the month until I next get paid meaning I cannot pay my rent, food shopping or petrol to get to work. when I called the bank they said this was my own fault and they were not prepared to help because the computer said no. My monthly salary nearly £2,000 a month goes in to this account so they can see it is funded regularly and still no one is prepared to help, meaning I cant even pay for my fahers funeral

Had a business account opened with them…

Had a business account opened with them when I started up, cand even use your card to pay for anything, can only use to withdraw money. Rang them and they told me I wasn't taking enough money, had 3 months of consistently taking 15k a month and they still said I need to take more money to upgrade my card. Was not even asking for a loan or credit card just wanted to use my own money in the bank. Much better banks for starting a business so definitely avoid and take your money elsewhere.

Use Lloyds if you want to be brought to tears on a weekly basis

Horrible! If I could give zero stars, I would. Every time something goes wrong I spend HOURS on the phone with them! They give you bad information, and then the next time they say 'oh sorry I don't see that in my notes... too bad, it's at your cost now'. I just spent 190 minutes - NEARLY THREE HOURS - just so that I could request a new card and get some non sterling transaction fees reimbursed as they said they were going to do the last time I called and spent 2 hours on the phone with them. Lloyds bank brings me to tears! I'm leaving them immediately.

Like johnny below i also applied for a Lloyd's credit card through their app. l got accepted and they said it was on it's way. However, the next day they texted me saying l had been declined. So, DO NOT apply through their app, it will give you a false-positive result.
On the other hand, an overdraft is easy to get through the app.

Just called an advisor to check my eligibility for a credit card , he said that I am eligible for one and I can apply though the app.
After I’ve applied I got denied and now I have to wait 1 month before I can apply again.
Looking forward to change the bank now!

Worst banking experience ever

Worst banking experience ever. Rude patronising , they lie won’t admit mistakes. They are theives, liars and treat customers like dirt . Caused immense stress to myself and my partner. Unfit for purpose and the banking ombudsman should investigate their activities. Have they NO shame ? I wouldn’t give ANY stars if possible. I’ve been with them for 23 years and something is VERY wrong right now with Lloyd’s.

Couldn't give it a 0

Went to them for a loan when I was 18, got told I'd been accepted at 5% Apr, read it and signed it, all good.
Documents came through about a week later stating I'd be paying 19.7%!
Went to the branch to be told, well you signed it so there's nothing they could do.
2 years of paying this and I went to see the bank manager to discuss my repayments as I could no longer afford the installments. Waited over an hour to be told to take a seat in his office. Waited there another 10 minutes, he came in, no introductions, asked what I wanted to discuss, looked at my "file" and instantly said no, and walked off. Didn't even look at me, nor even sit down!
Got a loan through another bank and paid off my Lloyds loan, rang the "customer service" "team", paid the amount they said was required, thought it was all sorted. Received a letter a month later saying I'd missed a payment!! They failed to tell me the actual amount with that months interest, and had "missed" a payment which was a mere £2.30, so my credit rating went down.
Avoid at all costs, put your money somewhere safer, like on a bench in town.

Horrifically rude and cruel.

Horrific, is the only way I can describe my Aunts treatment at the Kings heath branch of Lloyds. The manager was ill so a Mary Kar and Penny Dobson were the main offenders. My aunt who's Bipolar needed help and advice, they refused to help, were strangely aggressive from the start. I was there to support and explain what the banking terminology meant, within one and half hours. They accused her of faking her illness, literally shouted at her for responses, demanded immediate proof of her illness. Refused to allow me to make a complaint about their behaviour, stating I'd have to wait an hour, when I agreed to wait, she changed her word and refused to log any details. These women are the most aggressive uncompassionate Bullys, I have ever had the misfortune to meet.
Do not bank with these monsters, they will be quick to sell you bad products, and even quicker to refuse to take responsibility for the failing product, the staff are monstrous and extremely rude.

Worst customer service ever from home…

Worst customer service ever from home insurance claims department. They have made a bad situation even worse! It's true you only find out how good a service is when you have to use it. Not as if they are that competitive either. It's one of the most expensive premiums,!
