A franchised nation-wide ear wax removal Company?
This Company would seem to be an almost nation-wide Franchise for ear wax removal. Its website claims a 5-star record but where indeed is this record published? It does not seem to be on Trust Pilot.
Anyway I was referred to my local 'Clear Ear Express' site by my local 'Scrivens' shop (spectacles and hearing aid specialists) who happen to have the local NHS agency for Hearing Tests and Aids but whose profits would seem clearly derived elsewhere from sales of spectacles and private Hearing Aids.
The local Clear Ear Express site seemed not much more than a small office, with a swivel chair, in the local Community Centre run by a jovial and very confident fellow but no 'pre-Med' advice about potential risks. Not exactly a Nurse in a Treatment Room at your local GP's Surgery! And yes, you pay for both, but you pay more at your local Surgery.
So I was more than surprised to find that my hearing AFTER ear wax removal was far worse then before it and has remained so for 3 days, necessitating a visit to our local A&E where, thankfully, no harm was discovered and it seems that Time will be the cure.
So, if I ever need ear wax removal again I know to whom I shall go.
