Since mid-November I have been trying to get paid by CJ. I am owed over $1000. At that time, it was explained to me that I needed to update my tax information which I did. It took them 3 weeks to reply to my support ticket where I let them know that my information had been updated.

Me: Tried calling today. Was cut off with a message that said everyone was busy. Left a message and hoping to get a call back. What I need to know is if my current updated WBEN-8 is acceptable and if so, when will I get paid? I have not received anything since June 2021.

CJ: We apologize for our delayed response. We are experiencing a severely high volume of cases and are working hard to respond to each one in the order it was received.

Me: Well, another 5 days has passed with no update from the "finance team". I don't blame you (name omitted), you seem very nice...something is very wrong at CJ though. I am owed over $1000 and can't even get anyone to look into this properly.

March 7, 2022 (I call again)
CJ: My colleague (name omitted) reached out to me and informed me of your call. I have contacted our Finance Team for an update and have asked for an expedited response regarding your payment. Once an update is received, I will follow up with you.

March 11, 2022 - Still no response.

March 15, 2022 - No "expedited response" from the "Finance Team". No payment.

March 23, 2022 - Called in to learn that a payment has been approved for $878. Crossing my fingers. Will update once it shows up in my account.

I've been using CJ for about 4 years now. In 2019 I made good money, but after the pandemic started my earnings online took a nose dive. In 2020 and 2021 I really didn't make much.. however last month I did get a direct deposit for commissions earned. What I am concerned about is that I don't see any impressions anymore... what's up with that? I'm looking for another company to work with.

After more than 10 years of working with this network, I noticed that my commissions have not been paid since October.
On request, the support answered me that CJ was in the process of installing a new payment system and I would have to be patient for about 1 to 2 months until my account would be transferred.
After his, there was still no payout instructed. I contacted again de support, which answered me that my tax number would not be entered correctly. Thereupon I have again in the completely outdated, incomprehensible, super slow interface, which has not been modernized for at least 15 years, my tax number again entered. The payment has still not been made.
CJ does everything to find a reason publisher not to pay!!!
I think I will close my account at this SCAM company shortly. The only reason I haven't done it yet is that CJ have two advertisers, who are interesting for me, as an exclusive program.
In addition, CJ deducts 10€ fee if a publisher does not make any sales for 6 months. This is an impertinence, which does not exist in any other network.
I work with half a dozen affilliate networks. I have never had such problems with any other network!

It's a scam do not do it their customer service is automated it's not real once they have your money they will crash and when it crashes you will lose your money it's as simple as that.

This is scam, they disable my account and asked me to pay 20 percent of my balance before I can withdraw..they went further to give me deadline to pay or else my account will be locked for 3 montha and i won't be able to contact customer service.
Whatever you do not give your money to them.

Awful! I just decided to close my account after waiting for over a year to finally get a payout, and that payout wasn't even the full amount I was due.

Customer service is nonexistent, I had to wait forever to get a reply to my queries about the outstanding payment, then was told I needed to update my payment details. But even after updating them, nothing happened for months and months.

And then, on top of that, they deducted 10€ for "inactivity" from the payment. After they hadn't paid me for such a long time they had the nerve to deduct money for inactivity! I am actually livid, but already know that they won't care when I complain.

So, I will close my account and make sure that everyone knows about this network's shady practices.

First it took a month to receive a single reply on support ticket. This is I received (10 Jan, 2022):

Our records indicate payment in the amount of $128.05 was sent on 7/20/21 via Direct Deposit. We encourage you to monitor your bank account with patience while this payment is in transit.

Now I don't understand why they ask me to wait patiently after waiting for five and half month for the payment that was initiated on 20 July, 2021.

Like many mentioned it is almost impossible to get paid with them for the last 2 years. The support ignores you completely and when they reply (once a year, they give you some bullsh*t reason about why you won't get paid).
The interface was very very hard to understand but I dealt with it before as they have many advertisers that are only present on CJ. Now, since they are not paying their affiliates at all, I am moving all my links elsewhere.

I had made 130 $ from CJ affiliate but they don't send payment there is no Paypal or bitcoin method fake companies don't join it. They do froud with advertiser as well as a publisher.

It has always been working fine for me. Horrible interface, but it works and I get paid in time.

However, I haven't received any payment since May 2020. 7 Months without payment right now. They say it has to do with the Tax Information in my account, but I have added this information 7 months ago already. Only standard reply for Customer Service, no help at all.

I still have over 2.000 EUR of commission in my account. That is MY MONEY that I have worked hard for! Just sent them another ticket, hoping for the best. Giving 2 stars because I'm still giving them a chance since everything worked fine until May 2020.

Stay away, Total scam. I promoted the Contabo hosting program to my web development clients and first, they reduced the amount of commissions I earned, second, they didn't even paid what left. I sent them an email and no response at all. After seeing the reviews here noticed I'm not the only one this happened so far. Stay far away, otherwise you will ended up wasting your time and effort for nothing.

The worst affiliate network I know of...
A real pain to get paid (took me 9 months to unlock some payments b/c of some form where some postal code was missing), an horrible interface, no invoices to be found...
And ZERO customer service. Just hope you won't have questions or problems with them because nobody will answer. The Help Center is a ghost town, all the account managers are OOO half the year or simply ignore you.
I'm done with them, it's just a waste of time in my opinion. I much prefer working with other affiliate networks, not sure if they are more honest but at least they make easy to work with them !

I have reached the payout but after many month they still didn't pay. I Have written to their customer service but they don't reply. Non recommended.

Commission Junction CJ is totally a scam company. Mark my words it's a 💯 % scam. I worked for 3 months, literally slogged like anything. I use to get good impressions but didn't get converted into sale. So I thought of experimenting with one software related affiliate link. I forwarded the affiliate link to my 6 friends & told them to purchase the software by using this link & I paid them back. To my surprise it didn't get converted into sale. When I asked CJ about this, they told me that no sale happened from my affiliate link. From that day I stopped doing any kind of affiliate work & any home base job.
The scam work like this, they hire some paid artist & post video on YouTube and other social media platforms. This paid artist 😂 tell people how he or she didn't made any money for 3–4 months & after that sales begin to pick up. They will show you sales dashboard & $ awesome money they are making now. Then they will show you how they are sitting besides beach side & money falling from sky🤣. This is totally enticing & people fall for the trap. I would also like to tell you here that even if you are earning money from this, it will not be full money 💰 you will be getting for your hard work. But it will be quarter of money for what you have slogged for. Even if you stop working guys, this scam is going to work for lifetime because every year lot of people are going to graduate and they will be looking for this kind of home based job. They will work for few days or month's before giving up. What I mean to say here or draw attention to, is that you are kind of doing free marketing for them, driving traffic to their clients website. Also if you are working for some small company & you didn't make any sale for that month, you are definitely going to get paid by the company. If something happens to you ex COVID while working, the company guys are definitely going to ask about you & pay for your health-care. But in affiliate thing if God forbid something happens to you, then CJ affiliate or any other affiliate program is not going to enquire about your health but instead they will pocket your money & not give your hard earned money to your loved ones. In reality You are just bot for this people driving web traffic to their clients website. So guy's instead of working for this fraud affiliate program, go get a job or start your business. 👍🙏👍

Did not get paid since May, do not know why. Contact their support but no reply at all. I am worried that if they will pay me for my balance.

CJ is a very bad network to join. They stole our commission and closed our account without giving us any explanations or notifications.

They stole our money!!

They deactivated my account and stole my cash balance. Very hard to get approved for their affiliates. Flex Offers is much better.

Why

Don't bother working with CJ. Their publishers are mostly off shore coupon sites and review sites that will just insert themselves into your funnel and claim orders you would probably get anyway. Once you want to quit you will be locked into some contract that will cost you even more money.
