Synchrony Bank that this company uses has a horrible customer service system. They charge you paper statements after 2 months with 0 notice of issuance. Horrible experience getting refunds back from this bank. Don’t use their credit services. You will pay in the long run.

Sell poor quality products
Do NOT buy from here ... Fair warning
Bought a mattress 3 days ago ... Its is poorly made as you feel the coils jabbing into all parts of your body ... beyond uncomfortable when springs are jabbing you ... I contacted them to explain that the product they sold was poorly made and can't be slept on
They claim nothing that they can do ... once you purchase it , its yours ... No grace period , No warnings that you will feel the springs jabbing ... basically, sell bad products then screw over the customers ... its only 3 days ... very bad business ... its not MY fault that they sell poor quality items ... yet , they are happy to screw you over
Never again with this company ... Many bad reviews that are right on point ... Be aware

recently made a purchase with you for…
recently made a purchase with you for my new home, and unfortunately, I noticed that some items arrived in different sizes, with twisted legs, and mattresses smaller than what I ordered.
Additionally, the City Furniture employees who delivered the furniture disassembled it, and later that same day reassembled it because I requested them not to leave it disassembled. During this process, my door and walls were scratched, and the house—recently painted—was left dirty.
At the time, I was unable to inspect everything due to the circumstances, and I only noticed the damage when I returned to the house five days later. I filed a claim on April 7, but I have been informed that City Furniture does not consider themselves responsible.
I understand the claim should ideally have been made immediately, but I could not verify the items at that time. I would sincerely appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter fairly and promptly.
Customer Service previously offered $100.00, but it seems there has been a change in that decision. My main concern is simply to address the scratches and paint damage caused during delivery.
Thank you very much for your attention and understanding

Disappointed in Product Durability and Customer Support
I purchased a dining table from City Furniture (Maylee collection) that was marketed as being crafted from hardwood solids with oak and ash veneers.
Less than one year after purchase, the tabletop sustained significant damage following a single roof leak incident. While I understand that water exposure can affect wood, the extent of the damage raises concerns about the product’s durability within its first year of use.
I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly with the company and requested escalation, including filing a BBB complaint. Despite these efforts, my request for a goodwill resolution was denied, and I was informed that no further action would be taken.
I am disappointed not only in the product’s performance, but also in the lack of flexibility in customer support given the circumstances and timing.
I hope the company will reconsider how situations like this are handled in the future.

This company refuses to reimburse me for taxes. I've presented my tax exemption several times with no response other than "we are looking into it." Horrible experience. I've purchased from them several times in the past. Never again. I will be filing a grievance with the state for violating the tax-exempt status of a 501(c)(3).

The staff at City furniture are beyond helpful. Sarah, one of the store managers was working on the floor one day which is unusual - she helped me find the perfect sheets. I haven't found sheets that fit for my king bed until she introduced me to 'Purple'. She was FABULOUS (as are the sheets)- she helped me find fabulous pillows, a duvet cover on sale & so much more. Unbeatable!

Honesty
Honestly, we work too hard for our money to be fooled. Hay crappy quality. I paired close to 5k for a really comfy huge sectional with three recliners. The material is just not good quality “performance” material. I have had excellent experiences at El Dorado, but here, forget about it. I still like my sectional but it will not hold up and that is for certain.

Poor delivery & customer service after you accept the merchandise
We bought two expensive couches from this company on Labor Day weekend 2025. The leather is very soft and supple. The massage works well. We have a problem with the speakers in the couch. At the store they sounded loud and incredible. They are not loud blue toothed to our Samsung 65" TV. Called their service department and they sent a tech. He did not know of this issue and referred it to the manufacturer for a fix. This was months ago never heard back. I had initially asked the salesperson about Bluetooth and does it work with any Bluetooth TV. They were not sure but assured me the delivery service would hook it up to insure it worked properly. I was concerned that once you accept delivery from this company the product is yours- no returns. In addition, I paid almost $200 dollars for premium delivery and their delivery people said they do not hook this up only unpack the furniture and place it. I was upset since I had been told they would hook this up as part of the delivery charge. They put me on with service and while discussing a solution the delivery people walked out without placing the furniture. They never even told us they were leaving. Not sure what I paid $200 for. I would give 4 stars for the couch since it is very comfortable, and all the other features work fine. I would give one star for the delivery and one star for the tech who has not followed up for a solution to the low volume. I assume they do not sell many of these. Be careful in purchasing this item from City since they have been very unresponsive to the issue. I also want to give a huge recommendation for our salesperson. When I alerted her to this issue, she volunteered to come to our house to help with setup. That is what I call dedication! Maybe after this review City will contact me concerning these issues. BE wary of this item due to the lack of their support.
City did contact me after the initial review above. Spoke with Steve in social media and we went through all my complaints. He asked what it would take to amend my initial review. So, I said I believe your company should credit me for the terrible delivery service. He could only give me back $80 which was 50% of the cost. Meanwhile City since the initial review has offered their premium delivery service free to me in emails to entice me and I assume other customers to buy their products. Current promo on right now for this perk. It is now well over two months, and I never received the promised credit. This company has failed so many times to honor their promises that my recommendation is to steer clear of this furniture dealer. They have impressive stores but once you buy and accept delivery of an item their customer service is poor to non-existent. Lip service is the only service you receive with hollow promises. I have an extended warranty which was very expensive. I am praying I do not have problems with this purchase due to my experience so far.

Don’t buy warranty !
Unfortunately I had to give a one star , since there is no zero! Like many people , I didn’t listen to the reviews . Spent close to 5k on a sectional and chair. Added , against my better judgement , the warranty for $500! What a waste ! It has spots all over the place and that’s not covered . Never again will I buy from city furniture !

New Leather sofa set was under your…
My new Leather sofa set was under extended warranty and tech came out. He informed us that the frame was damaged, He asked how long had it been broken, I replied I don't really know because I had been in the hospital for a while. City furniture then called and informed me that because it had not been addressed immediately that it was not covered . I informed them that I was very upset about their misrepresented warranty program. After going back and forth discussions they agreed to repair the sofa. It took approximately 6 months for them to get the part and reschedule only to find out tech ordered wrong part. Then I proceed to get a call stating that the corner wood leg part of frame was broken and not covered. I am besides disappointed with the sub contracted tech, who then proceeded to challenge me, about the damage and in which he neglected to inform city furniture that the couch had not been used since I had been in the hospital for a long period of time. Now I have no choice but to have an independent company repair the sofa. I will never recommend City Furniture.

We purchased a sectional sofa from City…
We purchased a sectional sofa from City Furniture on July 4, 2025, with delivery on July 25, 2025. Within several months of normal residential use, the sectional developed significant defects, including:
Severe rippling and deformation of the seat cushions, resulting in reduced comfort and support
Fabric that appears dingy and does not clean properly, despite being advertised as stain- and moisture-resistant
A cup holder component that does not remain secured on its track and frequently falls off
These issues developed gradually over time, consistent with latent defects—problems not immediately visible at delivery but caused by flaws in materials, manufacturing, or design.
I submitted a warranty claim on January 17, 2026. On January 19, 2026, I was informed that the claim would be denied because the issue was allegedly “not reported on time.” This rationale is unreasonable for several reasons:
The sectional is well within the 12-month manufacturer warranty.
Warranties are intended to cover defects that appear during the warranty period, including gradual or progressive failures—not only issues visible immediately upon delivery.
The defects described are not consistent with normal wear and tear.
Reporting the problem once it became unacceptable is reasonable; most consumers would not report minor or slowly developing issues immediately.
The sectional was sold as a $4,600 product marketed as durable and stain-resistant, creating a reasonable expectation that it would perform far beyond six months. In addition to the express warranty, the product is also subject to implied warranties under Florida law, including the implied warranty of merchantability, which requires that goods be fit for ordinary residential use and last a reasonable period of time.
City Furniture sent a service technician to inspect the sectional on January 22, 2026. The technician confirmed that the condition of the furniture was not consistent with normal wear and tear after only 5.5 months of use. He further stated that the damage was due to poor quality and manufacturing defects, that the issues were irreparable, and that the sectional could not be repaired. He also confirmed that a hinge inside the cup holder was broken, which explains why it does not function properly.
The technician indicated he would relay these findings to City Furniture. Shortly thereafter, I received a voicemail stating that the technician could not repair the issue and that City Furniture would not be able to move forward. During that same voicemail, it was also stated—incorrectly—that the damage occurred on the day of delivery. This is completely false and has never been claimed or suggested by me.
Based on this experience, I am extremely disappointed with City Furniture’s handling of a clear warranty issue on an expensive product and would caution other consumers to carefully consider their warranty practices before purchasing.
Wrong color of chairs delivered
Wrong color of chairs delivered. Submitted a claim and was told the chairs were correct. I knew they were wrong so I called again and they determined I was correct. They put in a new order for the chairs only to have them delivered in the wrong color AGAIN. They said they would fix it but I won’t get the chairs until 2 weeks to which I said okay. They sent a text when the correct color was available so I scheduled the exchange. They never showed up or called. After contacting customer service they said they won’t be available until 5 months from then.
Now I’m stuck with the wrong color (they’re white I ordered beige) and I’m scared to even use them because what if they get dirty and then they won’t exchange them for me. I don’t get why they text me saying something is available to order to then not be available? This is ridiculous.

I had a wonderful experience at City Furniture. Namara took exceptional care of me from the moment I walked in. She was patient, knowledgeable, and truly listened to what I was looking for. Thanks to her guidance, I found the perfect coffee table and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Excellent customer service and a smooth, enjoyable shopping experience.
No Quality control and customer service is useless
I've purchased several pieces from City Furniture recently as I've had good experience with them in the past. I have to say their quality of their merchandise is complete crap and customer service is horrific. I was quoted 12 weeks for the replacement parts for a NEW sofa (motor and switches) it's been 21 weeks and I still do not have the parts and as such I do not have full use of my Sofa.

I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment with my recent experience with City Furniture. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have been dissatisfied, but this situation has been particularly upsetting and deserves to be addressed.
When visiting your showroom, the sales team made strong promises about flexibility, support, and customer care. I was assured that if something was not right, City Furniture would work with me. Based on those assurances—and the policies clearly outlined on your website regarding exchanges within several days—I felt confident proceeding with my purchase.
The couch was delivered, and within the same evening, my mother and I realized it was not something we were comfortable using. By the next morning—less than 12 hours after delivery—I contacted customer service to request an exchange. The couch was completely unused, still had all original stickers attached, and had not even been sat on.
I was not asking for a refund. I simply requested an exchange for a different item.
Despite reaching out well within the timeframe advertised on your website and communicated in-store, my request was immediately denied. No solution was offered, no flexibility shown, and no effort made to assist me as a customer. The contrast between what is promised in the showroom and how customers are actually treated afterward is extremely disappointing.
As a result, I am now left with an expensive couch that I cannot use and am forced to sell on my own—after spending a significant amount of money and doing everything correctly as a customer.
This experience reflects poorly not only on your customer service but also on the integrity of your policies and the quality of support provided after a sale is completed. It is deeply frustrating to be told one thing upfront and treated entirely differently once the transaction is finalized.
I truly hope City Furniture reconsiders how it supports its customers, because no one should be left in this position after acting promptly, responsibly, and in good faith.
Shame on a system that promises understanding and delivers none.
The West Palm Beach sales person was…
The West Palm Beach sales person was truly amazing, but unfortunately I bought the wrong table for a surprise, so I tried to return it. It took me six customer reps and probably six hours of my time. For me to say I'm going to chop the table up and give you a bad review. I was trying to buy a more expensive table and chair set, which made no sense to me. I will never ever buy a table or any furniture from this company. It's too bad SALES staff is really good. but the return policy is disgusting. escalation department is a joke. They read from the same script.

If I could rate this experience with a 1/2star I would. The 1/2 star would be only representative of sale people came running as soon as I entered the store. All other points of help, sale and delivery failed miserably. I have purchased two very expensive mattresses here but never again. Done 😡
