Very good adsense Alternative.

I am surprised being the first to leave a review here about this company since they are quite big. It's a google ads alternative for banner ads. I use them as a publisher on a site with X00,000 monthly impressions. There's no doubt that google adsense are the best in terms of revenue, but they have very strict rules in terms of where you can use them. My site is an online virtual community game, so there's not much content(text) on the page, so I can't use google without risking myself getting banned. Therefore I was looking for an alternative and decided to try Chitika. The interface is very simple, even too simple with very limited options. There's not much to customize, you just pick the relevant banner size and paste the given code into your site. First few days the CPM seemed very very low. I guess it takes time for your domain to gain reputation among the advertisers. After a few days it got much better and kept improving the following weeks. Now after a couple of months I'm very pleased with the results.
If you need support, you might find it difficult contacting them. It allows you to send a contact form only after you earned a certain amount of money. It has taken me only a few days to see that option unlocked so it's not a high sum of money, but if you need help before you have earned anything, then It's much harder because I have not seen any other method contacting them, and they do not answer on the social networks.
But when I did use the unlocked contact form, it took them 1 hour to respond and resolve the issue, so the support definitely exists, it's just hard to reach.
I tried a few other popular alternatives but I did not like them because the revenue wasn't as good or the ads were inappropriate, so I decided to stick with Chitika. In conclusion, Pros:
- Simple
- Good revenue
- Good support once you reach them.
Cons:
- Interface lacks options
- Hard to reach support as a new user
- Seems like the interface hasn't been upgraded in years
