Many customers reported consistently poor customer service, describing staff as rude, unhelpful, and dismissive, often leading to frustrating interactions. Reviewers frequently encountered issues with service, including excessively long wait times for prescriptions and products, and a lack of efficiency in resolving problems. Problems with online orders were also common, with customers experiencing cancelled orders, missing items, and difficulties obtaining refunds for products not received or defective. However, some customers also noted positive interactions with staff, describing them as friendly, helpful, and professional. These positive experiences included staff remembering names, offering advice, and providing efficient service with a quick turnaround time for products.

Disgraceful service at the shed Geelong

I was after some compression socks, l went into market square my chemist and saw that they had Wagner compression socks at $16:99 and this was in their catalog item as a current sale. I then thought l will go into Geelong shed chemist warehouse and compare what they had available l noticed the same Wagner compression socks were marked as $19:99 l thought that's alright as they are the same business they will price match the same product. The girl at the register said she will check with the store manager. The store Manager said no she would not because they have different sale items in their catalog l told her that was rubbish the same business the same business should always price match. The manger was yelling and screaming at me trying to convince me on some nonsense that didn't make any
sense. The yelling was done in front of many customers ,just shameless. The manger was on her high horse making up some catalog excuse when that was never the problem. I later on went back to market square my chemist were l received excellent service, they clearly told me the manger was wrong to not to price match the same product. Someone should teach her this as well as learning some manners. Just disgraceful service.

Lost pretty multi-coloured, long umbrella

Hello there, Yesterday Mon May 27, 2024, I purchased 2 items Wagner Vitamin C & Reclens contact lens solution. I paid at the counter where I left my pretty multi-coloured red, long umbrella. I rang this branch to be on the lookout for my lost umbrella. I do hope this pretty umbrella will be found so I can retrieve this from Chemist Warehouse Westfield Parramatta NSW. God bless you. Thanks, Maria Llave

They have 90% of time not in stock what is on you medical prescription. You go in stand in a queue to hand you prescription in, then stand in a queue to get your medicine, and more than half the time the do not have it in stock, then in a other queue to pay for it. Then you go back to receiving the medicine the didn’t had and everything all over again . This place is just a waste of time. This is the Northern Rockhampton branch.

Can not provide negative feedback to …

Can not provide negative feedback to pharmacists working at North Parramatta store. Ordered prescription medicines and was advised that it will take 30 minutes. After one hour when checked with pharmacist after people came after me has gone with medication. I checked with pharmacist and I was advised by pharmacist that I have ordered multiple medications it will take undefined hours or may be day. I should go home and come back after medication are ready. You are the last priority for us as we will serve the clients with minimal medication requirements. I have to wait for 2 hours to get my medication. I have seen multiple times before the arrogant behaviour of pharmacist in North Parramatta chemist warehouse. This is the last time I have gone to this store. I may go to different stores in future. I will suggest all the people looking for blood pressure medication refrain from this store as the behaviour of staff may increase their blood pressure.
Worst client service in the store. Will never go to North Parramatta store again. Will request others not to go to this store.

terrible delivery turn around

They offer a magical same day delivery service but don’t explain how to opt in for it. I placed a $110 order for basic products on a Sunday. It took two business days for the order to be picked, packed and dispatched from Preston DC and another three days for it to be delivered to Sydney metro by Australia Post.

We visited Chemist Warehouse at…

We visited Chemist Warehouse at Craigieburn Junction today and spoke with the Pharmacist regarding a special request script. The service was EXCELLENT, Ramnii was considerate, kind, understanding and had a genuine interest in our needs. We have dealt with Ramnii, Basile and May at this Chemist Warehouse and all have been kind, friendly, professional and provide exceptional service. We are very impressed by the high quality service at this particular Chemist Warehouse and would very highly recommend this store to others.

click andcollect order

I placed a click and collect order and the same result for over 2 years at their Brentford Square store in Forest Hill Vic.
The staff at the checkout can never find my order and then ask me for my name, barcode etc.
Then the pharmasist is called and knows exactly where the order is, less than 2 feet from where the staff member is standing.
This typical response to click and collect has been ongoing for two years.
They don't care about customer service improvement.
I gave them one star but in reality it should be zero stars.

money hungry and staff

They have become money hungry! Now no matter how much you spend online, you still need to pay for postage. Also the chubby girl at CAMPBELLFIELD chemist warehouse needs to be trained. Not everyone has a bloody photo ID! I’ve never had problems before for click and collect. In the past my Medicare, bank card was enough also the scanned my phone for the barcode..what else did she want? Geeez!

CW are not maximising their service or…

CW are not maximising their service or profits. I'm sure that staff turnover is very high and I'd consider the workplace unsafe due to noise and general sensory overwhelm. No wonder staff are rude as reviews attest - just having to work in this environment tells staff they are not worth much. Numerous competing media, bright lights, plus chemical smells. These features seem part of every CW franchise. A generally inhuman and uncaring atmosphere. Yes it's cheap, but why only that? Surely it is more profitable to run a welcoming shopfront for a diverse array of customers, including ensuring enough room for mobility aids. You never lose by valuing staff. It could be so much better.

Lost their way …Chemist Warehouse Newmarket Road…

Chemist Warehouse Newmarket Road Brisbane, continues to offer less and less service. Customers are regularly abused, shouted at and told the product they seek isn’t and never was stocked for years. The helpful pharmacist Michael who inspired the staff has long gone - and the polite helpfulness he encouraged in staff has gone with him. The staff now band together with almost unbelievable behaviour and point blank refusing to contact another store for stock for example. The franchise owner is aware of the problems but seems unable to fix them. A sorry tale indeed.

staff are rude

I will tell u what went wrong this time your staff thinks they own the company with the way they treat customers and they carry on like their Doctors, and they won't refund you if u purchase something from there, and when another person comes in to get a subscription for your husband they think it was for yourself because I had to explain 3 times that my husband has had reconstructive knee surgery, because the subscription was for Oxycodone and penadine fort, and the waiting time is ridiculous. And it's not the first time your staff either.

Refusal to refund for unacceptable item - Pathetic

I purchased an eyebrow pencil costing $8.47 via click and collect from the Lilydale, Vic store. Took it back as it seemed dry, only made a faint line and the tip kept breaking off. The staff refused a refund saying there was nothing wrong with it and told me to take it up with the manufacturer (Rimmel). I spend in excess of $200 each month in Chemist Warehouse, Lilydale on medications and products and I can not believe that the biggest Pharmacy in Australia quibbled over a $8.47 refund. Fobbing the customer off by referring them to the manufacturer happens all too frequently with retailers and is contrary to consumer law. This is a pity as I have had excellent service from the staff at this store until now, but shame on you Chemist Warehouse you thoroughly deserve this feedback!

29/12/2023 Chemist Warehouse Lilydale phoned me to say they now agree to a refund. Could this be due to my feedback? Would have been much better to give me the refund when I took the item back!

Very poor customer service at Brentford…

Poor customer service at Brentford Square, Vermont, Melbourne. Avoid shopping there, it’s not the first bad experience there. Michelle, store manager, did not honour a refund today when I was advised by her staff member that I could seek a refund after Christmas (approx $40). Michelle asked me to call head office to confirm. Head office advised they would need to seek Michelle’s approval for a refund from the store, Michelle agreed to an exchange but not a refund as promised by her staff member. I had no other choice but to exchange. I would not have bought the product a few weeks ago if I could not seek a refund after Christmas. Michelle would not even refund 50c (remaining amount left from the exchange) and made me purchase more items to make up the total, unbelievable! If you’re looking for perfume or aftershave, go elsewhere. Or if get it in writing if the staff member says they will grant a refund!

Deceptive practices

Ordered an electric toothbrush online in an advertised sale. The company took the order, our local store had heaps of stock.
A week later the order was cancelled despite high stock volume at our local shop.
Honour your sales.

Rude Staff

I went into the shop at 5.40 on the 6th on December

I was going to buy a lipstick.
I used tester to try the colours.
One of your workers, a young lady proceeded to yell at me in front of my husband and other shoppers
Accused me of opening up a lipstick and saying I can't use them.
I Politely told her it is a tester and it was already opened, I tried to show her it was a tester. She wouldn't look at it and called me lier, she said no it isn't and walked off.
Well it most certainly was.
I have never been treated so badly in any store and have live in Altona all my life.
To be treated like this in a store I use regularly is soo upsetting
I was absolutely humiliated in front of everyone and demand an apology from your store.
I will be taking this further.

Shame on your staff for treating customers in this way.
She had no right to yell and accuse me without the proper facts.

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour.
