SCAM ARTISTS, tradesmen do not bother you will get leads for about a month tops then will get 2/3 leads which are tyre kickers for the rest of your term .

You are also stuck in a 12 month contract which you can’t get out of and they get you stuck in an auto renewal which if u were to cancel you get threats of ballifs ect.

I tried reaching out to my accountant manager regarding an issue with my account , called 5 times and can’t get hold of anyone.

They generate fake leads and 95% of leads are battle to the lowest bid .

If you yourself are a tradesmen save yourself time and money and steer clear of all these sites .

Within minutes I had 2 quotes. The company I chose was Clear Finish and they were excellent. Reasonable quote and they did a great job.

Arrived on time each day.Worked hard all day, and did a great job of fitting 6 doors into Frames that weren't straight.Nice bloke as well.

As soon as the job advert went live on chequer trade, I was contacted within minutes by tradesman. With it being a bank holiday I thought we may struggle but this was not the case. The tradesmen was very helpful and very prompt and arrived within the hour of posting the job. Job completed and peace of mind was given due to the nature of the job, we could attend a family barbecue knowing that our property was safe.

Great team. Work done promptly, reliable, good quality/price ratio, kind and respectful of the property. I highly recommend this company of young but experienced people. Thank you, excellent work.

My pressure pump broke down and used CT. Within 5 minutes i was contacted by several plumbers, however most of them were charging unrealistic amount, some even refused to come and check the pump unless he swaps it. Playing with my wallet. The whole thing was obnoxious and I felt very vulnerable. The pump was eventually swapped (was only 13month old) I ended up paying £250 for a half an our job. Whomever tradesman uses CT thinking he can do a daytime robbery on a customer ….is trading with the devil. The team that changed my pump was good, but I would never ever call them again. These tradesmen must pay a lot to CT but I am unsure it worth loosing the biggest advertising of all …word of mouth. I will never use CT again.

Quickly found an electrician available to carry out job. Easy process felt safe and secure

Found a reliable trades person, after being scammed on Rated People. I will be using Checktrade from now on.

Terrible service from cheakatrade since being taken over by the new greedy company they allow blackmail reviews then dont support you when challenging them.
This platform used to give the customer the right to search for trades now it simply takes the customers details and gives the leads to whoever is paying them the most money my price plan was around £200 a month and in the end I wasn't even getting 1 lead a week and when I did the client would not respond or awnser my calls then I was told its now around £300 a month for the new package with guaranteed leads up to 160 so its now basically £25 a lead.
I went on holiday for 1 month and asked if they could freeze my account only to be told no but your expected leads will carry oversized basically i have paid near £600 for the month and i come back and no phone calls or leads coming in to be told you have had over the expected amount and you have around 40 left for the last 5 months but i should be getting double lleads this month then the same blindsiding speach comes out about overall performance qnd maybe you should try new areas of work i dont want to change areas i just want to get my moneys worth.
What a scam company this is im definitely leaving in October when my contract runs out I hope it goes bust in the future.
