Great staff, but very bad management
During peak hours, trains are almost always late—typically by 5 to 10 minutes. On a 30-minute commute, that’s significant, especially in a country as small as Luxembourg. Train cancelations happen quite frequently, for unclear reasons. The staff are friendly and helpful, but that hardly compensates for the abysmal mismanagement of the substantial resources allocated to this public company by one of the richest countries in the world. Trains are generally clean, and stations are well maintained; it’s just unfortunate that no one seems capable of managing train traffic efficiently.
