Opening an international bank account is not a simple process, and my experience with Caye International Bank ultimately left me impressed by the professionalism and dedication of their team—especially Alexzander Tzul.

From the beginning, Alexzander was responsive, patient, and clear in walking me through the documentation requirements. When I had questions around notarization, residency documents, and compliance requirements (I’m a non-resident living abroad), he provided direct answers and workable solutions instead of generic responses.

During the funding stage, I experienced delays and returned wires due to issues involving the correspondent bank and very specific formatting requirements. This was understandably frustrating, but this is where Alexzander really stood out. He took ownership of the situation, apologized for the delays, stayed engaged, and actively worked to diagnose the problem instead of deflecting responsibility. He reviewed screenshots, explained exactly what was wrong (beneficiary details and mandatory reference placement), and even offered to help complete the wire form correctly to avoid another failed transfer.

He also made himself available by phone and WhatsApp, which made a huge difference when dealing with time-sensitive international wires. That level of accessibility and accountability is rare.

I’d also like to recognize Sofia Muñoz, who was prompt and professional in providing wire instructions and updates, and who communicated clearly throughout the onboarding process.

Overall, international banking requires precision, patience, and good communication and the Caye International Bank team delivered where it mattered. The process isn’t instant, but the service is thorough, human, and genuinely supportive. Based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable offshore banking relationship.
