I don't believe anyone who has wrote a good review on here is in the building trade and know what a good finish is which is what you would expect from a new property. I went for a walk around the Plymouth airport development and was shocked at how quickly the properties have deteriorated. Then also going inside a number of homes the inside finish wasn't any better it's no wonder they have lost 1 of their stars they should lose 4 of their 5 stars. I've also been into some of the Tavistock properties now under construction & noticed they are not even bothering to plaster walls anymore just fill screw holes and paint anywhere they can save a pound they will but they like to call themselves a premier house builder. I am glad I did my homework and used my 30 years experience in the building trade so I was able to pull out of buying in time. These are just some of the faults I found in homes no more than 5 years old poorly fitted doors, skirting, cupboards, carpets, damp, mould, walls/stair banister not plumb didn't even need a spirit level to see this. Outside there was cladding on properties that was coming away, leaking gutters, rocking/uneven slabs, front doors de-laminating, coping stones lose & covered in rust the list goes on. I suggest before making the biggest investment of your life walking around the 504 Plymouth airport development with a experienced builder to see what your investment may look like after 5 years. I'm now waiting to see how brexit turns out maybe a bargain to grab if economy takes a down turn & housing market slows down but will not be buying a new property as the quality is just not there anymore unless I find a piece of land & build it myself.

They respond very quickly to our queries and concerns, not that we have had many of them. The house is of a better standard and finish than our previous house which was a new build by a different developer. Definitely recommended.

We moved into our new Cavanna home at Stoke Gabriel 4 weeks ago. We could not be more pleased with the quality of the build, the location but most of all with the level of customer service. Cavanna offered a range of options to meet our wishes, and are receptive to non standard items being added. Our sales advisor, Kevyn Dixon, has been exceptionally helpful from the start. Nothing has been too much trouble, and he is always approachable, polite and attentive. He deserves a pay rise and promotion!

We have recently moved into our new Cavanna home and are extremely happy.
The house offers en-suites to two of the four bedrooms, something that we were unable to find at other local developments.
Cavanna Homes impressed us throughout the whole process and worked extremely hard to ensure our desired completion date was met, despite the weather being against them for some time.
Chris, Tim, and Andy have provided excellent customer care to date, all with a very professional yet friendly approach.
Would thoroughly recommend Cavanna.

The Sales Advisor, Chris Hodder, provided excellent customer service throughout the process, continually updating us on progress and offering support and advice when required.
The aftersale care has also been first class. The Site Manager, Tim Riesner, promptly addressed the few snagging issues we had, the work was carried out efficiently and the tradesmen left things clean and tidy.
We are extremely proud owners of a beautiful home - can't rate Cavanna Berryfields highly enough.

Recently completed the purchase of our second Cavanna Homes property. Having purchased a number of new-builds from various house builders over the last 25 years we have to say that the whole Cavanna Homes experience, product and aftercare has been by far the best.

Special mention to our main point of contact Bernadette Wheeler in the sales suite who has been particularly professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with.

From first meeting Kevyn in the sales office,buying a Cavanna home has been a trouble free experience. He came out to meet us, late in the evening, on moving in and has always been at the end of the telephone for advice.What a pleasant, polite, and helpful man to deal with.Indeed, everyone on the site and at the Cavanna main office are so friendly, cheerful and helpful.The rare problemswe have had have been dealt with immediately.

The staff that we have met at Cavanna have all been so lovely and have been a major influence into purchasing a new Cavanna home. Lyndsay at Lyme View has been incredibly helpful and friendly and provided us invaluable knowledge and assistance throughout our buying process. Lyndsay went above and beyond and often went out her way to help us whilst we were making enquiries about purchasing a property. We looked at other cavanna sites and were delighted with the build quality and finish on their homes and the way the sites are finished. We have a very good feeling about buying our cavanna home.

The sales team was great from the start, very helpful and very friendly. Kaylee went out of her way to make sure that our move went as smoothly as possible. Our house was finished to a very high standard. A few snagging issues but I’m assured all will be done in due course. Having just bought a Cavanna-built house in Tavistock, our attention was drawn to this website. It has been interesting reading other opinions, many of which differ remarkably from our own.

As we had a very poor previous experience when buying a new-build house nearly 30 years (and 7 house-moves) ago, we were reluctant to consider one now. However, a work colleague persuaded us that things have changed. We took a look at which builders were going to be operating in Tavistock around the period we wanted to move and went to visit existing sites around the SW. Our visit to the Cavanna site in Barnstaple was very positive, persuading us to take a close look at Broadleigh Park.

From first contact to now, our experience has been entirely positive. The builders and their employees have been helpful, informative and accurate in all their dealings with us. We have been made fully aware of how, and when, to pass information to the company in the event that we find faults, errors or omissions.

The point made about Estate Rentcharges by another reviewer was picked up by our solicitor, who worked with Cavanna's legal team to ensure that the excessively-punitive penalty clauses imposed elsewhere do not exist in the Deeds of Covenant we have signed. If your own solicitor did not advise you of these, it is not Cavanna's fault. We also understand that as local councils no longer have the budget to adopt and care for new public spaces and facilities, it falls to the site developers to establish binding agreements to ensure that the future care of roads, verges and play-areas is assured for every home-owner's benefit.

We acknowledge that it is early days (just finishing our 2nd week), but so far we have nothing but praise for a company that has made buying our newly-built house a delight.

Having purchased 2 houses from Cavanna over the past 5 years, I can honestly say that there customer service is fantastic and the build quality of the homes are superb!!! They made the Whole buying/moving experience a real pleasure from start to finish.

Brilliant team who were helpful all through the process from purchasing to moving in, the quality of the build is second to none and the location is fab. Even though they are still building the new homes here at barley Meadow the site is always pristine and clean with minimal disruption.

Mine and my husband's experience with Cavanna has been fantastic. From getting our mortgage to moving in, it was all smooth and stress free. Chris at Berry Feilds, Barnstaple is fab. He does all he can to make sure your journey of buying a cavanna home is perfect. The site managers are also excellent, they sort any problems in good time and want to ensure a first class service.
