I’ve been using CFCU for 30+ years (man I’m old haha). The staff is always so friendly and helpful. They may not be the highest rate bank, but they offer a reliable local bank.

You can have it so when you use a debit or credit card, balance is auto paid or taken from checking. If checking is low, then it takes it from savings. Their fraud prevention is really good and will alert you to any transaction for a week until it learns your patterns. We use it for everyday checking

Don’t bank with Cascade Federal Credit Union! I’ve been a member for 27 years and have recently had the worst banking experience in my life. They charged me $90 for non sufficient funds in a transaction I didn’t authorize. Every bank I’ve ever dealt with in the past knew how to handle fraud. Cascade Federal Credit Union went with extortion instead of trying to help me. I was threatened that if I didn’t repay the $90 that was stolen from me they would ruin my credit with ChexSystems so I couldn’t get a checking account anywhere else.
