One of the best afternoon teas, if not the best we have had. Nice carriage and a great afternoon tea.

For years I have taken my Nannie as a frat she’s 96 this yes and been informed cream tea is from 9-10:30am only now!! If I want to visit in the afternoon it’s £30 a head!!!! She’s 96 years old she can’t get up and moving that early!! Such a shame a small business has gotten to big and become money grabbing and NOT accommodating any longer!! Not difficult to serve just a scone and tea to an old lady and make her yearly tradition!! Shame on you!
I got married and was given a gift voucher for as a gift by our friends. Due to COVID, we could not use the voucher and it was due to expire so I made contact with the venue and they granted an extension until the end of Jan. However, there were no spaces as it was all booked up and when I was speaking to a member of staff she was so rude and unhelpful. The way she spoke to me was disgusting. I was not rude, I was polite but was met with the vilest person to ever be in a customer-facing role. The person in question tried to get me off the phone as quickly as they could and could not be bothered to speak to me and just said to send an email when I asked if it would make any difference she replied no not really. So I said what's the point of sending an email. She just said sorry it's tough and there is nothing she can do. An awful experience. CH0313 In early 2021
