Beware. Ordered a Samsung A56 online and it said receive a £50 currys gift card when you order a A56 contract. I ordered the phone on a 24 month contract, I have received both other promotions which were Samsung watch, phone case and fast charger and Buds at £20. Unfortunately i have not received the £50 gift card. Contact care phone warehouse and after waiting nearly 2 weeks I eventually get an reply saying No you do not get the gift card. Have once again replied and will have to wait another 2 weeks for another reply. This was clearly stated on the ordering page but once you have received and used your new mobile and plan they then say No.
I'm gunna fight to the bitter end and make sure I receive this gift card. Not a happy customer.

Dear Currys Customer Service Team,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience concerning my phone trade-in and the subsequent lack of support from your customer service department.
Trade-In Details:
• Original Agreed Trade-In Value: £270
• Deduction Applied: £160
• Stated Reason for Deduction: Damaged charge port
• Estimated Repair Cost: £60 (based on standard repair rates)
Upon trading in my phone, I was informed of a £160 deduction from the agreed value due to a damaged charge port. This deduction is significantly higher than the typical repair cost of £60 for such an issue, resulting in an unjustified discrepancy of £100.
Attempts to Resolve the Issue:
• Emails: I have sent multiple emails seeking clarification and resolution, but I have not received any responses.
• Customer Service Calls: Numerous calls to your customer service have been unproductive, as representatives have been unable or unwilling to connect me with the trade-in team.
• Manager Requests: I have requested to speak with a manager on 12 separate occasions, but these requests have been ignored.
• Scheduled Callback: I was scheduled for a callback between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM today, which did not occur.
• Online Chat: Attempts to resolve the issue via your online chat service have been met with refusal to assist.
Desired Resolution:
I request the following actions to address this matter:
1. A detailed explanation for the £160 deduction, including an itemized breakdown of the assessed damages and corresponding costs.
2. Reassessment of the trade-in value to reflect a fair deduction that aligns with the actual repair cost of the charge port.
3. Prompt communication from a senior representative or manager to discuss and resolve this issue amicably.
4. The £110 to be processed to me
Please find attached copies of all relevant correspondence and documentation pertaining to this matter.
I anticipate a prompt response and resolution. If I do not receive a satisfactory reply within 14 days, I will have no choice but to escalate this complaint to the appropriate consumer protection agencies.

You advertise £40 cash back for a monthly contract with ID mobile.
You advertise this as 3 simple steps:
1.Choose a product or catagory that you would like to recommend
2. Share your link with family and friends
3. Well done! Your friend just made a purchase - your reward is on its way. REALLY....it's that simple is it?
You then expect the consumer to register with a 3rd party (Aklamio in Berlin) to receive this cash back.
When registered with Aklamio, the cashback is not available to claim.
I contact Aklamio on 23rd December 2024 who confirm ‘your referral reward has been correctly registered on your account and is being checked by our partner Carphone Warehouse. The reward is pending until our partner confirms that all conditions have been met and validates it’.
My partner received an email from you with £0.01 cash back?! Contact customer services and it’s like banging your head against a brick wall. Fob you off, will not put you through to a manager, can’t email and when you fill out the online form you get an error message. No customer service, false advertising and misrepresentation. Time to contact the ombudsman.

Firstly, its a shame I can't assign a zero stars rating. I placed an order for an honor 6 magic pro but due to internal security issue they just cancelled it twice, extremely poor service, now wonder they only have 1.5 stars, terrible. Placed my order with mobiles.co.uk.

I have spoken with both their sales and customer services team 3 times now and am still no closer to receiving the phone i originally tried to order from them. Their had an offer for a phone bundle which showed as being in stock and ready for next day delivery, which is why I chose to go with Carphonewarehouse. Only to then receive an email saying the phone was on pre order with no date to say when it would be ready. After speaking to the sales team and being told this was due to the buds being out of stock and that the phone can only come with the buds and that that basically i had to chose between getting the phone the next day without the buds or waiting until the 19th. Apparently there was nothing they could do at all, could possible process the two things separately as a gesture of good will even though it was their error. So I cancelled the order. I then spoke to another person in sales who said the buds would be in stock tomorrow so place another order, which I did. Only then to receive an email saying the order had been cancelled due it being a duplicate. I then called customer services to complain, they were rude and refused to help me - Kept saying that they understood but that there was nothing that they could do. They then refused to process my DSAR request or deal with the complaint.

I received my pixel 9 a day earlier than I requested so no one was in for delivery when I finally got the phone it was damaged after several frustrating calls to customer service I was told to return phone via a DPD return point which was at my local post office after 5 days no update on return told to wait another 2 days by customer service For system to update still no update had to call customer service again they said DPD had not delivered my phone and would need investigation which would take 6 days so I will be without my new phone for over 2 weeks I had a trade in/ cashback deal which I'm going to loose because I won't be able to send my old handset in within 21 days because I still need it to transfer data to new phone only took out contact because of cashback losing it makes it more expensive than I could of got it elsewhere

I still haven't received my £100 cashback that was part of my upgrade contract plan. My mum has been calling every week to be lied to saying it will be in your account witnin 3-5 working days and guess what it still isn't (my phone contract is under her name). Why employ liars who have no clue what they are doing. Carphone warehouse is an absolute scam. I will be emailing the correct department telling them that if I don't receive it ASAP I will be taking you to court for not fulfilling a contract, this is theft! You need to employ honest people from the UK not call centres from abroad who hang up the call and are rude. Disgusting service that I will not be using ever again. This has been going on since last month.

Dreadful customer service, no clue what’s happening with the business let alone being able to assist with my issue.
I’m having same issue as many others on here, phone contract cancelled and given no reason as to why. I have asked to escalate to find out the cause but they say they can’t do that. The operator just said they can’t help at all. I’m assuming it’s not a credit rating problem as I have an excellent credit rating. I think it’s an internal issue automatically cancelling the order but that’s just a guess. Curry’s need to invest otherwise they are going to tank the business. I will be telling anyone that asks to avoid them.
My advice would be avoid plenty of alternatives who don’t have internal system issues and customer service who essentially repeat the line “computer says no”.
